My thing with Druid has always been the panther chicken jump it completely breaks the fundamental boundaries of this game since it completely ignores ms penalties what this typically leads to is you have Druid dead to rights but if they are just a step out of your melee range they jump away and heal no other class can do that because they have to work within the boundaries of the game even sorc with tp still has to abide by it

sorcerer damage output is the most ridiculous thing on this game right now. Druid only fight transform, and transform he is weak. Any fighter outmatch a panther cause panther suck in life. TO reach 150 life and have good damage, u need absurdly expensive itens. While a barbarian with zeihander will kill you easy with range. Bear form or panther. Thrust me i play 3 ranger/druid/barbarian Barbarian is the most ridiculous class. You can kill anyone in a blink of eye. Druid you can kill any noob who dont fight back really fast. Ranger is really hardcore you need to listen well and hide cause you need the first strike to survive. Im medium with druid i have kd/ratio of 4kills 1 death with druid. 6 kill 1 death with barb and 5/1 with ranger. I must say the problem with druid is people think he is the very best cause people who fight a druid fight with poor itens. Druid is the most expensive to build right and even so, you canot win a barbarian or pdr fighter with druid. Just canot, they need to be noobs. Also right now sorcerer is the most broken class ever. If you have true magic damage you can shield with true magic and lightning with true magic. is 2x times true magic damage output is really opressive, the only counter is a barbarian with absurd life and even that you do like 200 magic damage in 3 to 5 secds.

pro tip for decent druid kits for cheap- buy lots of legendary and unique druid exclusive clothing. sure the strength or agi stats will be marginally lower than commonwear like padded tunics and heavy boots but you can minimize losses by then picking very well rolled items with more rolls for cheaper, also the druid specific gear often has great stat value with extra will and the like which turns your healing into a bush cleric. decent jewelery will always be expensive af but you don't need as good jewelry if you build and play right; my thesis for druid gameplay is that if you play perfectly you can win any fight and better gear just makes you kill the enemy quicker.

its defo op in many circumstances but pretty much all classes have situations where they are thanos druid definitely has the widest range though and is quite overtuned atm needs some serious nerfs to animal form stats and scaling to balance out their crazy movement and utilitarian powers but otherwise a fun class that needs some serious work and more players would definitely benefit from giving it a try, at least to learn how to better counterplay against it

This is my biggest problem with the game rn. Druids have such overtuned kit its ridiculous. Rat form escapes, chicken jump tech, healing spells, buffs, build diversity, a phantomize perk, AND the animals have their own ability on top to add to their kit.

Its a bug with the shapeshift slots. so you need to move over all your shape shift abiltiies to the other shapeshift memory slot. That's how i fixed it

This is an extreme example of a top 500 player who has thousands of hours in the game. He has map knowledge, knows how to approach different classes, is intimately aware of how to min-max the gear system, & is making thousands of gold per match, regardless of the class being used. Every class is "broken" in the hands of the best players who understand the ins & outs of the game. Most people picking up druid will die & stop playing long before reaching this level of skill. One does not simply pick up druid, have thousands of gold to splurge on a BIS kit, & whip out the skills to dominate lobbies. Literally just a class with a lot of options. And people don't want to adjust how they would fight them. Most people go oh okay I play like this vs ranged and this vs melee. And that's all they do, so when a druid pops in and neither of those play styles work it Must be overpowered. Nope, not op just very different. My advice is doorways and getting right on top of them when they chase so they can't swap forms. Only class that has a particularly hard time against druids would be a wizard who didn't notice them until it was too late to create space. Since panther silence and a couple m1s are enough. Also druids are way worse in duo or trio compared to solo.

Yeah nah even in low gearscore lobbies Druid is super strong, Panther still hits hard relative to people’s HP and defense with low/base gear, plus bear form with Thorn Coat means any melee users may very well take themselves out trying to hit the Druid. Even more importantly though, the ability to slingshot across a room with panther + chicken, and slip through doors with rat, means the Druid can always choose if they want to fight someone, and if they don’t? They just leave. What’s the other person gonna do about it?
