Remaking the Original Pokémon Games with Shinies... Showing Nintendo they may be gone but we wont forget! But all honesty this was my most time consuming project to date so maybe that's why they haven't done this...

It's so weird that some shiny have a completely different, unexpected palette and then some are just the exact same thing with a tiny detail changed. Still, it's cool seeing that brought to Gen 1.

Oh, I love me some Flareon! It's not my favorite Eeveelution anymore, but it was for the longest time, and remains a very close second to this day (current favorite Eeveelution is Umbreon, which had been the close second to Flareon, until I learned Umbreon was originally gonna be a Poison-type- I love Poison-types, so that pushed it over the top). Also, I too had Charmeleon as my favorite Pokémon way back when! It just looks cool, and being such a vibrant red didn't hurt its case at all. Favorite Pokémon these days is Weezing, but Charmeleon still has a special place in my heart.

Flareon got some real fans out there finally getting their voice out now I see 👀 yeah I think the color on chameleon was a huge factor now that you bring it up its no where near my top favorites now a days but always an honorable mention

These look great! My favorite Eeveelution is actually Flareon! I didn't originally have one, I loved them all equally. But me and my brother did a soul link nuzlock on Diamond and Peal and the first pokemon I caught was Flareon! I got really attached to it because of how much we went through and when it died, I cried for a solid 30 minutes. From then on, it's been my favorite because of it, despite the sad ending. It's a shame it doesn't get a lot of love compared to the other evolutions, because it's such a cute design and it's dex entries are cute too!

I’m new into Pokémon (sword was my first game ever!) so I’ve never seen the old gen game sprites before so it was pretty cool to see them alongside your shiny recolors! I'm a Flareon lover! I prefer Sylveons base stats for battle, but Flareon is the one I would pick every time if I could. It's so fluffy, cute, and it packs real firepower. Flareon is my favourite Eeveelution, and I even have a plushie of one named FluffN'Puff, after the Flareon I use in Pokemon Blue. Flareon would make a great pet and I really want one. I like its normal colours more than its shiny.

To be honest I kind of like the shiny forms for Charmander and Charmeleon more than Charizard. The black shiny is cool but personally I think other Pokémon did that better. But I totally understand why people love the current shiny Charizard that much. Though now that I think of it Shiny Mega Charizard X should have been gold. That green wasn’t my favorite considering that Pokémon looks awesome. I even love the black color scheme there

So if you want to know the actual reason Gen 1 pokemon can be shiny, it's because in Gen 2 Shinies were determined by a Pokemon's DVs instead of just being probability, and you can actually shiny hunt legendaries (technically like NPC related pokemon, but it's not reasonable to do) cuz they're a high enough level to tell their HP DVs and Shinies always have a 0 or 8 hp dv
