When I was attending school in the 50's and 60's both in Europe and North America, we were told that the overpopulation of the world has to be controlled. The population of the world was 3+ Billion. So my generation controlled itself and controlled our breeding. Now that world population is 7+ Billion we are told that the demographics is wrong and we have to import populations from areas who were not as enlightened as we were and continued to breed.The population of Europe in the 1960's was 605+Million today it is 743+ Million. Europe will not die out. So lets stop the bullshit. There is also nothing wrong with Nations, which seems to be an ugly word nowadays. It contributes to variety in the world. Or, am I wrong, and Europe should not have variety, it should be homogeneous. What would be the point of travel to or in Europe then?

+The Voice of Reason Well cultures will die, all cultures we know today will one day be dead and gone, or atleast changed beyond the point of being recognisable, such is the nature of the universe. But traits of these cultures will live on in new cultures that will emmerge, and we must make sure the traits we keep are good ones. That said I think diversity can be protected without resorting to nation states.

I am saying that there is nothing wrong with freedom of association, or the right to associate, which pretty well defines a nation. As I said lets stop the bullshit. If a nation decides to exterminate itself, it is their decision. If a nation decides to protect its culture, it is their decision. We have no right to interfere, which created this debate to begin with.

+The Voice of Reason Honestly I don't think it needs protecting, even governments have a hard time stomping out cultures when they are trying. And we've seen a lot of trying, over centuries. We tried to destroy the Sami culture, the brittish tried to destroy the Boer. The 19th and 20th century will show you one thing if you want to destroy a culture you really have to do what hitler did, and kill the people who are a part of it. And quite frankly no one is both capable and willing to do what he did. So as long as governments stop meddling cultures will perform their danc eof natural selection on their own. A sort of cultural darwinism. With cultural traits acting as genes.

+Fredrik Dunge It is not hard to stomp out cultures, it only takes time. Maybe those cultures are still exist but they are broken and much different than they were before. After occupation and the forcing of different culture it is hard to go on, it takes lots of work to gain back what your country has lost. If you really see into history you can see what communism did after Hitler. You dont need to kill of everyone, just the people who oppose you (better do in secret) and brainwash the others, better if you have a main enemy which can distract the population and which can take all the blame. A goverment suppose to protect its citizens and their opinion and culture because they were voted for that reason if they dont do that then they dont serve any purpose. "diversity can be protected without resorting to nation states"- Disagree, withouth nation there is no diversity because people have to work together as a group and have to follow a common goal, they need something that can keep them together and the most important thing that can do that is history and culture because no matter wherever you go or what you learn or what opinion you have you still have a common ground with those who was born and grow up at the same place. Our nation and history give us different opinion and life style and even a different view point if all of us born in the same nation there is no different view points because everyone of us will have the same (similar) backgound and history. And what you forget natural selection doesnt mean that only the good points survive but the most adapt and stronger (the fit one) survive. Basically a stonger and fighter nation could easily defeat a peaceful, weaker one. Different nation can only able to merge if they have common ground and a main culture that the others want to follow. What happens in the west is not multiculturalism because people dont merge, they just live next to eachother and not with eachother.

These stuttering intellectuals confuse demands and disruptions with responsibilities. If someone broke into their homes and took or demanded goodies its not imperative to consent to their rape; and nor is it their responsibility to facilitate the activities now or later.

***** Did I say go to war? No, I didnt. I said that those nation who tried to be peaceful and tried to be nice to others when they dont even knew them were ended badly. They were used, occupied and enslaved while those nation who were more agressive and insecure managed to sutain themselves and built a "peaceful and rich" environment to their citizens while they stole and enslaved the others. The main probelm is that you think that every people like you and just want a better chance in life meanwhile you ignore that there are lots of others who just want to get revenge and use you. You think that love, caring and patient can achive everything but is not how the world works. Sometimes it can help but to except to change that many people is just impossible especially because the majority of migrants arent from Syria and they have already caused riots and hurt others. Do you think that those people will really change and adapt if they already broke the law? :/
