As good as "analog horror" Mario 64 videos can be, they never hit in a way that I could relate. I was too young to own a N64 and I only played the DS remake during my childhood. This video hit the exact spot of weirdness imo, not too much, but just enough for those who've played the game something's going on. Cool video.

I saw your first breaking the barrier videos when they were released and you're still the best at whatever genre of Mario dream videos this is. With this one I think it might have been better if the Waluigi/piranna plant level had the sunny sky backdrop and played Bob-Omb-Battlefield to help differentiate it from the Goombah boss level. Physical aesthetics could stay the same. Looking forward to the next one!

I swear to this day that my friend had a version of this game where it was possible to enter the door in the moat before you drained it. It was one of those hacked cartidges from China with like 50 games on it. If you swam towards the door and then turned 180 degrees, a door would spawn behind you and you could get inside. Funnily enough I had a dream that Waluigi, Daisy, and even Peach were unlockable characters.You had to do something with Wario to get Waluigi, do something with Luigi to get Daisy, and lose Mario's hat to the bird in the desert level, then send Daisy to get it, then she'd wear it and fight Bowser (up the endless stairs), when after she beats him Peach would be unlocked

Hopefully this can become playable, although I fully understand that it will take time to complete. I'm intrigued that inside the black box, in addition to the entrance to the negative version of the second floor of the castle, there are more doors and one with a large star, so one could infer that there are plans to include more stages. As for the level to get Waluigi's key in the room of mirrors in the negative world, it was a good idea to use Mario's because it does look like a garden. What makes it different from Mario's is that in this one some paths have been changed and it doesn't have toxic liquid, but the platforms are in the air and that makes it more difficult.

However, there is something I don't understand and that is why in the negative version of the second floor they have put all the walls full of the Jolly Roger Bay paintings (on the second floor of the castle also this one, but there are also the Bom-bomb paintings, the one of the Mountain, etc), including the room with the 3 paintings of the Goombas that are replaced by Jolly Roger Bay. I don't know if it refers to the Submerged Castle.

Oh my... This video unlocked a lot of memories, and I didn't expect this urban legend to come resurfacing now. I remember the deep dive that WWWWario did (back in 2013-2014) about the Waluigi theory. You and the rest of the contributors did an exceptional job of mimicking the style of those DS gameplay videos, and of the images that WWWWario had shown in his explanation. @@TBoz_bowling The black box entrance is real, but, not the whole room, if you want to access the place, 1st. beat Bowser with all 150 stars, and watch the ending, then, be Wario, and go into the frontyard of the castle, and use the cannon, and do a back flip there, then, you can see the place, there are challenge rooms in this place, but every time you try to enter them not as Waluigi, you get denied access to them, so the room in the middle, is where to find Waluigi's Painting, it's blocked by a black brick, and the stage is beach styled, and you spawn on a purple switch, the boss is Petey Piranha, once you touch the purple Waluigi switch, the rec room will change, as in, the White Room, now has Purple Lining and carpet on it, and there is an upside down L on top of it, and when you haven't unlocked Waluigi, it will say, "It's Locked, someone is picking the door's lock on the other side."
