You have to look up the max temperature, I cant remember off hand. But if you're cooking with the temp range, yes!!

I bought one of these for myself…..took 2 days before it would connect to my WiFi, then the first time I started to use it, it wanted to do an update. The next time I try to use it it would not connect to WiFi again. Boxed it back up and returned it. Plus every time you change phone you have to put the app on the new phone……TOO MUCH TROUBLE! Now I’m very happy with my thermo works smoke 4

I have owned two probes and I would never buy a MEATER product again. Nothing but problems with connectivity, battery draining and not good for searing over direct flame. Thermoworks is a much better product and Made in the USA.
