TO SASHA: As someone who has been addicted to weed, I have a few thoughts. First off, you have to communicate with him how you feel and express that you are in it together, not that it is a you vs. him thing. Secondly, the depression and everything he is experiencing when he quits is likely withdrawal symptoms, especially if he is doing it everyday, all the time, and it will take some time but those symptoms will go away. I think the best way to go about this is to have him do a long complete hiatus from weed (maybe 4 or more months). That way he can experience how active, happy and fulfilled he is without it. Then after that he can go back to doing it one day a week. Like Sundays can be his smoke day. It's also helpful to do the hiatus because regulating it is extremely hard (I used to try it all the time to no avail) but once he has been completely off of it for an extended period of time it is much easier.

Sasha - If you’re reading this, my heart goes out to you. I can relate to your situation so much! The part where you said “participating in our life” only when sober so aptly describes how it feels. Some things that have helped me are (1) Therapy- individual and couples. There may be bigger issues at play here that you need to work through like communication and learning how to ask for what you want. (2) Letting go of the negative thoughts & finding things that bring me joy and also focusing more on positive traits in my partner (however hard that can be sometimes, lol) (3) A strong support system of friends. Hang in there! I know how hard this can be but one way or another you’ll figure it out and get through it. Holding you in my thoughts and sending you all the good vibes!

Well . . .it was most important in 2016 and people blew that. . . .now they have the supreme court and many federal courts to discriminate against women and people of color. But yes, always vote. I'm still very worried for people that actually hate women so much they think we shouldn't own our own bodies. It's sick and sad . . ."Sick, Sad World"

Cheater dude was so frustrating and an idiot and I dont blame that on youth. and I agree it sounds like he feels bad and just wants to get back together to make himself feel better rather than wanting to be with this girl because he loves her and is attracted to her. but also then at 39:58 saying he never had the chance to say that he regretted cheating on her?? that was like 12 minutes into the chat already.

Sasha’s husband is self medicating. He needs to be seen by a therapist and a psychiatrist. He can get prescribed medication to address his anxiety. I got my ex to do this and he got an official diagnosis and medication. It helped him a lot. He vapes from time to time but doesn’t depend on it.

My state of TN is a trigger state, and it won't be long before they try to legislate women's bodies even more than they do now. When that day arrives, I will volunteer my time to drive anyone who needs a procedure to the closest state with reproductive rights fully entrenched.

The woman with the stoner husband is lying as well. She said she noticed how energetic and engaged her husband was when he didn't smoke weed. Then a few minutes later when they suggest she ask he be not high for a certain amount of time she changed her story to "when he doesn't smoke he's so depressed." C'mon...this is obvious.

I think the best way to tell someone that the smoking has affected the relationship is about the sex. I've been in a relationship with a pothead and had to end it because of the sexual issues. It definitely decreases sex drive and erections. Less smoking, more sex. That should be motivating enough.

The anti-weed caller has a shitty worldview, what does cannabis use have to do with growing up? The problem is clearly of her own making, if he makes this change she'll find something else about him that she doesn't like, because she's unhappy in the relationship.

It’s not that she has a shitty worldview but that she feels disconnected from him and abandoned when it comes to household duties when he’s sitting around stoned all the time and she has every right to feel that way
