I like the symmetry of the Mammilaria being dug up by a feral pig, only to then be confiscated by yet another feral pig.

I wish you could visit my back acres. At least 24 different species of trees alone. Several kinds of orchids. I've spent the last 3 years exterminating invasives, and the natives are slowly recovering. Thanks for another anti-homicidal video.

Rabbits will eat large amounts of morning glories and also certain legume trees. I found one in my garden by my morning glories man, and it was just staring off into space. Ate like 5 leafs. It let's me get closer now. I'm gonna eat it soon

I love the way you describe the cactus' effects as if they were both desirable outcomes. "Now this one wont get you high, but you will puke your guts out if you're interested"

That's an awesome cactus story, lol. A year in police storage, you finally get it back and it just keeps on growing. Holy shit cacti are cool.

I’ve never heard someone so intelligent and learned also cuss so much at the same time, in the same sentences even!-like saying all these Latin botanical names and botanical descriptions and identifying everything mixed with “hot as balls”, “bastard”, “swamp ass”, “shit” and f bombs at the same time. It’s extremely hilarious actually 🤣

"Lookin' like tribbles on the god damn ground." This is the quality narration I watch these videos for. And also random facts I didn't know I wanted to know.

What really gets me about the plant-life of Texas is how much of it is the same native plants from millennia ago behaving completely differently to how they normally would due to a lack of wildfires and a presence of windbreaks, like fences. It's still part of their natural behavior, but it's a part that would only very rarely be seen if not for humans.

After reintroducing astrophytum , lophophora and others to 2,236 acres acquired years ago , they are doing great on what used to be abused and overgrazed land .
