We read the comments ! And appreciate them I thought about this after making this video when we bring in back to shipments of 400-800 coral colonies we are easily sitting on $200k +

You need to go into your basement more often. Have you considered how lonely the ghost is?

The thing that keeps me coming back is how seriously you take the ethics of this hobby and your obvious passion for and candor about the subject. Definitely a gift to the community, and something we need more of. The ADHD sidetracks don’t hurt, either lol.

Hey March, visited the store and it was awesome. One thing I would say could be improved is the pricing. Some dry goods were priced, others were not. Just a thought.

Once you regularly calibrate the Hanna salinity checker there’s nothing wrong with it.

What an amazing store. Every dry good you could ever need, hand selected for the best of the best, plus tons of coral in this small footprint. Would never need to order from BRS again. Throw in the coffee machine and I’d never leave.

I love how you stress the point that fish are hard to keep, when I first got into the hobby ten years ago I was under the impression that corals were the harder of the two and after seeing how many fish that are taken from the ocean die in the stores and in my own tank I kind of turned against the hobby until a year ago when I set up a reef tank after doing lots of research. I only have captive bred fish that are easy to keep and lots of thriving corals and captive bred clams.

Tbh I think when it comes to fish people just simply don't have the space to properly bring in wild and high stress fish without putting them in a 40 gallon or smaller often times wayy to small easy stress from that no a lot of people understand how to grow the natural foods of these fish and self culture it's expensive for a store to do something like that if it's not their main thing ig but I love fish and inverts Im especially into the macro algae and sponges tunicates etc so learning about every size of life just to feed one freaking type of coral makes other animals easy as fudge to analyze

Funny about prices. That is the retail price, so your cost is probably %50-90 LESS. Not that there is anything wrong with it.gotta make a living.

I also love my fish. They are so happy. My percula clowns have anemones. My banggai and pajama cardinalfish have space and hiding places. All of my fish have a nutritious diet. 🤘 Planning additional fish aquaculture setups. I understand your view of fish. I do believe we need more aquacultured captive bred fish to keep the hobby sustainable and keep the fish happy. Lets collab on fish. I'll shoot you an email.

I once emailed AA about that blue Kenya tree you spotted when you were filming there, to see if they could ship it but never heard back. So yes please tell Paul all you know, it would be great for all of us in the UK to be able to by corals from AAC online they have such an amazing selection and great quality, I often check their site hoping they are finally getting round to doing this as not everyone can get there in person!

@@Chrish_Fish its all relative. clams for us very very hard to get , one of the hardest to import. But so many are now captive bred in the USA Making them relatively inexpensive. so exchange rate aside, simple availability of corals will make a big difference in price. Chicago sunburst nems here are go for about $70 USD , just as an example
