159" Track 1986 YAMAHA PHAZER Build

I went through a lot to tie up everything on this snowmobile. After years of torture, this sled comes around for a second life. This sled is nearly 40 years old, let's put some repair into this monster vintage mod sled.

The AAEN single pipe added around 14hp to those phazers, this would be a worthwhile upgrade. Vmax 38mm roundslide Mikuni's can be bolted on and they will work with the stock airbox. The pipe, carbs reeds and new pistons will make 80hp with 60 ft pounds of torque and they are still reliable setup like this. They used to clean up at the grass drags even when jumping into the 500 liquid class in a short race because they only weigh 388lbs. We couldn't beat them with our improved Indy 500's very often. With a good track and a little more weight removed they are very quick.

Exactly what I did on my 1986 Phazer. 137" track 96 vmax flatslides fit perfectly. Just need a throttle block with 2 cables 1 for throttle 1 for oil injection than some jetting.

Look, there is way too much footage of you yapping, and not nearly enough footage of you fixing the Phazer. Make a longer video in a less MTV tempo, that is actually enjoyable to watch...
