Might try to crank a little more twist in the clutch spring yet! There is still a little bit more power to be had... Thanks to my lovely shop assistant: www.youtube.com/@calsgonefishing5812

Dude that's awesome! I always wanted to mod a Phazer like that. Phazers are one of the best looking sleds ever in my opinion. Keep up the great work brother! 👍

Nice video with your dad. That Phazer is looking good.

That Phazer is the perfect bush sled now with the low end power now. Would be a great ice fishing sled if you lived in a high snow area. The old sleds are a blast to ride off trail if they have enough track to do it, so tippy and maneuverable. I just bought, basically stole, a MINT 98 XC 700. Thing is a rocket, on a hard packed smooth trail.

It's great to see old skis made to dangle again! Have to do at least 1 more video on the old Phazer after it is completed. Maybe your dad can do the final touches of some restoration later too.

I've owned a couple phazer 2s, 136. I piped and tracked, 1.5 ,, 136, they rocked. Not like a new sled but pretty good.

Favorite sled the phaser aka the pogo stick snowmobile
@billallen4793 Жыл бұрын
I had only 1 pogo sled. And the the only reason I owned it was for the engine. A 1996: 800cc Bender built monster of a V-max4st..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠 P.S. it was horrible for anything other than going straight, very fast!..lol

@@billallen4793 I had a 95 built 800 block and with a built 600 head it would almost do back flips from pulling the skis so hard it was a great trail sled

@Cj McMaster I'm not a Yamaha guy really I mean I've owned a few products, but I didn't know that the 600cc twin cylinder head would fit on half of the 800cc engine. The very first sleds I bought with my own money were 3 Yami GP433's, a few year's later I bought 2 SRX440'S, than in 1999 I bought that 96 V-max4

You clocked it to 2B. Did you move it anymore. How about spring color what did you use. I have a 87 exciter and was up in the hills 10,000 ft colorado and it has no low end torque. Flat land 8,000ft it runs great.

I am curious to know what the plan for the Polaris is.. :D A bit unclear on what your role in that is. Are you just working on it or do you get to buy it after fixing it?
