Coach Ali Are the attached bands on the reformer addition or did they come with the machine? What kind of bands are attached? Thank you

T.E.A.M.Ball Athletics the resistance bands and trapeze attachments are simply from The Bow's traveller kit. This enables you to perform all of the soft cable & trapeze exercises but also all of suspension training and RBX programs too :) www.thebowfitness.com/products/the-bow-travel-kit

Hi Ali! I'm going to train with the Total Gym. Can you become as muscular as you do with dumbbells? Or does the Total Gym give you an athletic body more? Don't you get dumbbells from pumping up bodybuild muscles? Can you explain to me?

Hi Johan, getting a muscular body is about pushing weights at a level that your body thinks "hey I need more muscle to get through what Johan is getting me to do each day". Even more important is the macro nutritional component to ensure growth. To answer your question, you notice that I have added resistance bands to my total trainer to create additional weight load other than my own body weight. It is possible to build a muscular body using your total gym provided each rep is challenging you and it feels more like a weights session (not like a cardio session). Again the most important part is the nutrition!

Total gyms typically have weight bar attachments so if things feel too easy for you. Get some weights. Also if it didn't come with the bar typically there is still holes for a bar to go through and any 1 inch diameter steel bar will do.

@@chaddickens4335 Only the newer version has the hole for the bars. Mine doesn't have any whole that is one inch diameter.

Why is your head elevates? isn't that straining your neck?

Tammy T.B. great question. The feeling of strain is a weak scm (neck) muscle but this type of elevation will strengthen it. Lifting the head protects your lumbar spine from arching and straining. It also engages your core particularly upper abs so it becomes a more effective (compound) exercise.
