16-20 Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R/ZX10RR ABS delete cancel dongle

I did not know this was an option for my motorcycle! 😳 My 2018 ZX10R ABS was a "leftover/overstock" bike that was available for a great price. This was the only ZX10R available anywhere near me but I didn't really want to get ABS, although I couldn't say no to the sale price. 😁 I just "discovered" Track Days last summer at my local track and anyone that races knows ABS is no good on the track. I purchased the Kawasaki brand ABS delete dongle from Amazon for $20.95. I just installed it on my bike. An interesting side note on my 2018 is, all I had to do to access the plug and install the ABS delete dongle was remove the passenger seat. I turned on the bike to confirm that it worked and it did exactly as you demonstrate in the video. We are getting thunderstorms today so I can't test ride it to feel what the difference is, but I will tomorrow. Thank you so much for sharing this great information in your video! Unfortunately, I got it done before I started recording. Just make sure the ecu is flashed before removing the evap.

Hi! Why would you desire to remove or cancel the ABS? isnt safer to ride with it?

It's safer on the street, but not on a race track. I also like abs on rain only while on the street.

Can u turn on and off the abs with the canceller? Or have to leave the canceller to activate the abs. I want to ride with abs on the road, but on track I want to ride without abs

Yes you can, it's the perfect easy plug to have for those who ride on and off track.

Unfortunately, no. If you want to take out the pump then you'd need an ABS delete chip that get plugged where the abs pump is. I believe the chip is around $200.

Mine did when I had it. It's to let you know, you can tape it over if it bothers you. I ended up deleting my ABS system altogether and plugged it where they system previously was so the light is off now.

I believe you'll have to delete the abs. I don't think they made an ABS dongle for it yet.

@Fee they have it for the ninja 400. It'd a but costly. I only recommend if it's a track bike.
