Now that's a neat solution! I like it very much. I use Telstra rope as well, I just tie it onto the top arms. But this would be much easier and looks much better, too. I'm going to use this idea, thanks for sharing!

A great idea. We have a similar arrangement. I note that you have anti-flappers on the awning. I bought 2 appropriately sized hinges from Bunnings. I took the bolts out, giving 4 separate items. I then slide the hinge into the sail track on the anti-flapper and connect the ropes. I like your idea and am not suggesting that mine is better. It is just an alternative. I enjoy your program. 👍🤓

I just run a length of rope from one side to the other even easier and don't need any pipe.
