I am one of the few people who loves doing laundry & I've hung it on clotheslines for decades. I haven't even owned a dryer for over 28 yrs. I have a revolving clothesline.....there's a center pole & several parallel lines. I also have 1 long line which I use for drying sheets, comforters, blankets. I prefer laundry line-dried. When using a clothes dryer, you need to get the laundry out of it right quick when it finishes or you'll have a rumpled mess. Not so w/line dried laundry! You can take your time taking it down after it's dried. It's not going to wrinkle. The sun deodorizes, sanitizes, fades a lot of stains. The breezes blow out wrinkles & soften the laundry. And line drying is FREE, doesn't use fossil fuel. I make use of multi-clip hangers....I have one w/36 clips & 2 w/ 18 clips each. They come in so handy for little things....& I just hang it on the clothesline frame. I turn clothing wrong side out.....I turn my husband's socks wrong side out so the sun can do its thing. If he's had athlete's foot, the sun kills the fungus. Turning the clothing inside out keeps it from fading. I like your lines !

Ooh I love how you fold while you’re taking things off the line! Genius! My best time saver is to hang kids clothes, socks and underwear on those IKEA octopuses and then I can do the hanging part inside on a hot day and bring it out to the line super easily, plus it saves a ton of space 🙃

That is genius, I love it!! It would be so quick to bring inside too if it started raining! Thanks so much for sharing your tip Ruth!!! 🤩

Great tips Belle, I’ve been doing my “ironing at the clothesline” for years 😁 I also use hangers nowadays and hang them straight back up in the wardrobe. (I too use the stretch out movement to get rid of creases)

A little advice, it is better to dry clothes and colored things inside out, so your favorite things will lose color less from fading in the sun.

It's the Hills brand, and I just got it at the local hardware store. Hopefully there will be a similar one available at your local store! 😊
