If you're in Puerto Vallarta, most people probably don’t know about San Sebastián del Oeste, but it’s such a hidden gem! It used to be a hassle to get there - you'd have to take a tiny 14-passenger Cessna caravan plane! Now, though, you can easily drive or hop on an excursion tour group. This little mountain town has so much charm, with its cobblestone streets, coffee plantations, and so much history. If you're looking to get away from the beach crowds and explore something truly special, this place is definitely worth the trip! Doña Maria that was the owner of the coffee plantation (sadly passed away now) had 21 children! One of her son´s Rafael still operates it with his wife.

It is quite a costly country now..even intercity safe buses are expensive. Just taco is cheaper. Bottle of water more than in Uk . I still loved it all but felt unsafe at night...atmosphere was like that .. easy to travel around inspite of hurricane warnings.
