Good, less discs made by the company that almost had a lawsuit against PDGA in 2024 for allowing the Transgender Nataly Ryan to compete in Texas where she skipped DGPT events anyhow becuse of safety concerns here in Texas due to a specific Cult of a party MAGA being big in Texas. The case was tossed out right away and PDGA then threatened to de-certify any disc that was PDGA approved by Lone Star Discs if Lone Star Discs owner did an appeal or moving to higher courts. I know at one point Lone Star who was almost a sponsor for Texas states where they were being assheads with the lawsuit Texas States had dropped Lone Star who was the main sponsor forcing Tournament to use OTB Disc a bigger online retailer as the only sponsor just weeks before the event but until a day before Texas states, Lone Star Discs had on their site they were still a sponsor for Texas States with old banner the Texas States was going to use. Lone Star Disc company even tried slipping this banner picture in the online ads that Lone Star had on PDGA site and other places selling popular selling discs saying this but the ads were removed and those discs for online retailers, the picture was showing a stock mold saying you may get an unofficial 2024 states disc from sellers who ended up with States Discs like Infinite Discs or others. However, many places are just selling out of Lone Star discs and not ordering again becuse of the moves they did like this and one of not allowing a dropped with no warning day of said event for the single sponsored player for Lone Star they did not allow him the ability to drive the companies van back to headquarters after the tournament he was in the middle of when they got to him, they left him stranded for the DGPT tournament.

Pretty big lineup for a company I just heard of five minutes ago. I want Redemption. 5502 discs get a lot of work done on am courses.

@@Beaglefaust No they do not! Lol and they are no exception. I find the Redemption to be much more of a straight midrange, maybe like a 5 5 -1 2. It definitely has some stability but for me just a little flip up and push.

That's actually a great idea just to see how it flies. Maybe compare it a hexagon with equal sides and see what's better. Although a disc with corners sounds pretty deadly lol.

Bravo for featuring a disc from Daredevil. The Owl is a great putter. I personally use the Polar Bear because the blend is more rubbery, grip more and skip less. However, my favorite disc is the Timber Wolf; great neutral fairway. The Wolverine is a similar fairway but more understable. If you want distance and have a crazy fast arm, the Albatross is their version of a destroyer but faster.

I don't think the Juju violates any specifications. The Turbo, on the other hand, is NOT approved. It was not grandfathered in. It's not longer on the approved list.

Early on in my disc golfing journey I found (and bought) an XCom discs starter set. U-Helios (understable fairway), U-Griffin (understable mid), and U-Bennu (putter). I quickly found that as a noodle arm (still am, sadly), the Helios got me the most consistant distance off the tee, compared to my better known discs. And with flight numbers fairly close to the Leopard, it makes sense! I still bag that disc, still nobody knows what on earth it is, still flies far for me. Thanks for the fun video!

How about a video on best disc choice for forehand overhead rollers. I have a cosmic fission Tesla that I land about 20ft in front of me and goes about 280ft on average grass (not too wet, not too long... Mumma Bear grass!)

I thought I got a defective disc when I got the Cipher because it was so overstable. It's in my glow bag now as a utility to get around corners!

I think my sister in law bought me a Gooso (no label on the disc) and its accompanying midrange and putter. She meant well. Very stiff. Very understable. My son loved the disc, but we both agreed that it was better off collecting dust. I did use the bag they were packaged in to carry discs while traveling. I am a minor fan of Daredevil discs. They are inexpensive and great starter discs. I think of all the discs you previewed the Launch Cipher looked most interesting. How was the glow? (There’s an idea for a video-glow times. But not in a room and a timer, but thrown into the brush at night. How findable are they? I see a Blair Witch Project themed video) Thanks for the content.

We actually got that Gooso disc because someone turned it in as a lost disc at a tournament in July. Then someone who lost it said "I don't want that trash back" and I asked if I could save it for a video and here we are lol. Love the glow search idea, that's fun.

Half my bag is Vibram and the Obex still holds a slot. I use it for further pushing shots than the Loft Silicon.

I bag the Ibex mid range and the Ridge putter. I use them for upshot’s that I want to just stick to the ground. The Ibex is still for sale at the Vibram website, they came out with a 4 disc lineup a couple years ago, this must be the end of that run.

If you can find a quarter K please review that disc, it was so hyped back in the mid 2000s but I don’t think anyone who bought it actually ended up bagging it.

Wild sports discs, got them with a cheap practice basket and they are a super hard plastic that I wouldn't even let a dog have , and the mid range is called an iron, they're interesting

Ever thrown discs made by Paradigm? They’re no longer made, but there are still a few floating around. I believe they had 3 molds approved. Based on the Mississippi gulf coast.

You should check out more NSH, makes some really bizarre discs. Particularly the Mr.Putt in a maxish weight is insanely overstable but makes a great approach/scramble/forehand roller disc. Many of the other molds amount to 3D printed tilts and are very niche. The 3D printed material holds up better than basically any other plastic I've experienced, doesn't break in or break down so it's always what you expect.

My buddy bought the gooso starter set. The doink when they land on edge is just... we'll you have to hear it. I brought a round to a halt with laughter the first time it happened cause I asked if he threw a Tupperware bowl.

The WhamO midrange is an Innova Cobra, not Roc3. Just had flight rings added to the top mold. They also had a driver that was a Viper with flight rings added. Great video, but I kind of wish you had split it up in two videos and done two minutes on each disc.

To be clear the PDGA never approved the Tubo Putt, Disc Golf Influencers and Disc Golf KZbin Channels need to know this. Also, company in 2010's was relaunched by a group who eventually moved a Northern city in Illinois who found the original molds in Gateway trash when the 2 main founders of second Quest AT was living in crappy/scarry south St Louis Illinois, dump there when original company was closing up its store they dumped discs in the trash at Gateway a few miles away hoping the owner would take them and use the molds but Gateway uses a different molding process then Quest AT. It was both versions of the 10 meter Brick stiff fragile plastic and a clear champion like disc as floppy as an old Aerobe Dogobie where all other molds were that were legal and rules changed after 10 meter Brick, not to be confused with 10 meter that was a 21.1 cm Comet clone in every other size made for putting in the original plastic just before company closed and stiff feeling Champion from later Quest AT.

I bought a NSH discs a while back that flew a lot like a Leopard3 but the texture on the inside of the rim made my fingers feel numb after a few throws with it. I wanted to like and support NSH and 3D printed discs in general but I definitely won't be buying anymore.

I wonder why they don't 3d print them using resin instead of filament. The resin printing won't result in such pronounced ripples and would be much more aerodynamic.
