Try using tape to separate the sticker from its backing. Works for me. Your ideas for jewelry are lovely.

@@jubis-juj Good idea! I'll try that next time. The sticky mat works well, usually. Mine is old and has lost much of its stickiness now, though. I guess it's time for a new one! Thanks for watching, and also for your tip. ❤️

These are all so delicate, dainty and pretty. I love each of them! I was wondering if you seal the back and sides with something, and what that may be. Thank you so much for the inspiration and quick tips.❤❤❤t

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. To answer your question, I didn't seal these in particular, but I usually seal ceramic resin with butcher block wax. I used to use a matte sealant made by Mix2Mold, and that works pretty well also but tends to show brush strokes, so I do prefer the wax. :) I hope this helps, friend. If you have any other questions, I'm here for you.

Can you make the mix thicker so it pours slower and or use the bottles with the needle?
@ginrincreates10 күн бұрын
Absolutely! Mix2Mold is quite forgiving on how thick or thin you decide to mix it. If you mixed it thin enough to go in a needle bottle there may be curing time issues, though. I've never tried thinning it quite that much, so I couldn't say for certain. I know my thinner mixtures have taken longer to dry. If you do try using it in a needle tip bottle, I hope you'll come back and let me know how it goes. Id love to hear your insight. Normally I do pour a little neater than this, but I have osteoarthritis in my hands and some days are worse than others. But when the brain says craft, we craft! 😂

These sooo nice, how much powder resin did you make? Pls tell ❤❤❤😊
@ginrincreates6 күн бұрын
Thank you very much! I'm honestly not sure. When I mix up my ceramic resin, I usually just eyeball it and make more than enough. I always keep a spare mold or two on hand for extra leftover resin. Also, the recommended ratio of Mix2Mold to water is 3:1, but it's very forgiving, and you can make it thicker or thinner as needed, which is nice.
