The striking an official got an unsportsmanlike call, but hitting and/or pushing an official is an automatic ejection. Why did he get to stay in the game?

The most Nebraska way to lose: A blocked punt returned for a TD, at least 1 lost fumble, a safety, and to top it off they get our hopes up by almost going down to score with under 2 minutes just to throw a pick in the endzone. This was sad. See you all next year.

I lived in Lincoln in the mid to late 1990s. Let me tell you, being a non-Nebraska fan going to high school in Lincoln when Nebraska football was at its peak was a character-building experience, to say the least! I honestly feel bad for Frost, though. He's the first Nebraska coach I liked since Osborne, and I really wanted him to succeed.

Iowa and Nebraska are 2 teams that just make you scratch your head. Nebraska has been so competitive all year, yet they're 3-9. Iowa is 10-2, ranked 16 in the nation, and still struggles against everybody. These 2 teams could easily have reversed records right now. BTW, I definitely 2nd Wheel's recommendation for College Baseball.

When I applied to Nebraska, I already knew their football team was bad. This season was on a whole different level. We could not play in the second half ever. Although we put up lots of battles against ranked opponents, we just couldn't finish what we started.

We started out with a undefeated streak and high hopes, ignored the obvious cracks in our armor, lost consecutive matches in poor fashion but managed to meander into a conference division title thanks to another team beating the obvious contender. We then got (even more) spectacularly destroyed in the postseason.

Looking at how CLOSE the scores are between the Huskers and their opponents each week, the Huskers are the best 3 - 9 team of all time. They make a legitimate game out of most of their games, even against ranked opponents. Just goes to show the incredible PARITY in the college football today. In 9 Big 10 games, Nebraska scored 237 points. It also gave up 237 points. One would assume Nebraska went 4-5 or 5-4 or perhaps 3-6 or 6-3. It would be impossible to go 9-0 or 0-9. It would be very improbable to go 2-7 or 7-2. It would be practically impossible to go 1-8 or 8-1. Yet somehow, they managed to go 1-8.

I am not as informative to college rules as NFL rules, but i do know all the way through is full control through the process and even when hitting the ground. The ball popped through his legs, he didnt have full control through the entire progression. I like the hawkeyes, but i try to be as fair as possible. Homie didnt keep the ball through the progressions. It was the right call
