Nebraska (Jr) WR.Stanley Morgan Jr. 967 receiving yards at that point in the season(school record). Nebraska has never had a 1,000+ yard receiver in a single season in their history. What's notable is that Morgan Jr. Finished the 2017' season with 988 yds.(most all-time)& missed only one game due to injury(so close),But he decided to forego the NFL & return for his senior season in Scott Frost's first season. Stanley Morgan Jr. Broke a 45-year old receiving record originally set by Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodgers in 1972!!

Games like this used to drive me to drink a lot more, but they've become the new normal. The Mike Riley era may have come to an end, but the Husker faithful need to stop living a quarter-century in the past and realize that no magical coaching hire is going to bring back the 1990s. Not even Scott Frost.

The most shocking thing about this beat down is that this is a very average Iowa team (and I am an Iowa fan who has watched every game the last 20 years!). Loved seeing Noah Fant have a big game in front of his hometown team, once again validating his decision to spurn Nebraska for a program proven of turning tight ends into NFL draft picks. 2018 could be a very big year for Iowa assuming they become more consistent on the o-line and at receiver as the schedule opens up nicely. Great way to end the season but at the end of the day , you do have to evaluate where Nebraska is as a program..... ;)

Another delusional Husker fan who thinks the 1990's are coming back. Nebraska hasn't been nationally relevant in almost 20 years, Iowa has won conference championships and contended for the national title on a couple occasions (2002, 2009 and 2015) while consistently developing NFL talent from unheralded recruits. Nebraska is a laughing stock and has been an embarrassment to the Big 10 since they have joined in both football and basketball. Enjoy the rebuild! :)

Nebraska is 7-8 and 3 NQ's in Bowl games and Iowa is 6-8 and 3 NQ's (2017 Pending). Nebraska has only 1 BCS At Large appearance and is 0-1, Iowa is has 3 BCS Bowl appearances and is 1-2. Nebraska has zero Confrence Titles and is 0-4 in Confrence Championship Games, Iowa has Two conference co-titles and is 0-1 in Confrence Championship. - How can you argue that Nebraska has been better than Iowa since the turn of the century?
