As someone in healthcare I'm always trying to emphasize that it's not recommended for women to have more than 7 drinks in a week and no more than 14 in a week for men and no more than 3 drinks in one sitting for women and 4 drinks for men otherwise it's considered heavy alcohol use. As a society we normalize alcohol over consumption and even romanticize it which is extremely detrimental over time for our health. I practice what I preach. I drink a total of 2-3 drinks in an entire month AT MOST. On average I probably go 2-3 months at a time without any alcohol. This has been since college and I also went to a big party school.

Drinking is like skydiving. It sounds like such a good time and great idea until you let go of the plane. Don't obsess about it. It is my experience that over time your priorities change, and you naturally just drink less and less. P.S. the hangovers just get worse as the years go by, think gummies.
