The kid can see dead people and his parents dont believe him or support his enjoyment of horror, or his quirky interests. So hes kinda jaded, and his parents are used to it. So instead od replying that its zombies or something, he replies that. Its a really cute movie with a solid message about othering people, but also not becoming the monster they tried to make of you. Its very humorous and enjoys subverting tropes. Yall would like it.

I'm trying to remember that Toy Story "slime" scene... I think it was one of those like, offshoot episodic Toy Story... stories- short films even. Iirc, it's the one where like, Bonnie (the owner of the protagonist toys since the end of I believe the third film) and her family stay at a motel where the owner is a sketchy mfer who steals belongings from those who stay there, and then sell them on ebay or whatever. I believe the "slime" is suppose to be like drool or something from his pet iguana or whatever, but ig it wouldn't be hard to believe that the motel owner was... jacking more than just kids' toys.
