INTJ: I was raised by a narcissistic sociopath, and I've always wondered if anger and annoyance being my first reaction to things was caused by my mother. In a roundabout way, I guess it was. But at least I know I'm supposed to react like that, and that there really isn't anything I can do about it other than just stay away from people.
@Maria_744020 күн бұрын
INFP: I was raised by a narcissist, and most likely psychopath, (or possibly sociopath; still trying to learn the difference), and although I have been pushed to anger in the past, it's definitely not my go-to reaction to conflict. My INTJ husband, who also comes from a traumatic background, (though we're not sure which personality disorders were at play there), is much more easily irritated than I am. I think it goes back to nature vs nurture. There are things that we're naturally disposed to do, independent of our upbringing. Then there are things we do that are exacerbated by our circumstances, that maybe we would've done anyway, but on a much lesser scale. I've definitely learned how to be more like my husband, which I'm grateful for, because he has a wonderful backbone, but at the end of the day I'm still rather emotional at my core. I've set very firm boundaries for the first time in my life, and no one is allowed to cross them. At the same time I have immeasurable heartache at all that's been lost, and have to wipe away a lot of tears.

As an ISFJ, I felt this today. My local Aldi rearranged the whole store and now I have to reorganize my shopping list. 🤣

And again!! I relate to INTJ more. Finally I can relate to my personality type as well though

Every single time, the INTJ one calls me out. Especially since I got irritated by a coworker answering a question in the most irritating way...with uncertainty.
@jamesbobbski226920 күн бұрын
Bruh…this happened to me recently in a group thing at work where we were learning something new. Every time this girl raised her hand to answer a question she opened with ”I guess it’s…” or ”I think it’s….” In my head I was screaming ”for crying out loud!…OWN IT!” I don’t work there anymore.

@jamesbobbski2269 I get hedging to avoid potentially being wrong, but like in my situation and yours, when there is evidence, don't hedge. Why are people like this...

😅 I call it the cinema, because I'm British! I would never forget where I left my cat, because I don't have one and INFP'S never forget anything, we're cursed to remember too much. INFP

As an INFP, I struggle to remember names. I want to, but I have to hear the person's name several times in a long time frame for me to be able to remember. I feel bad and guilty because of it. 🥲
@sandrafrancis36314 күн бұрын
@seraphi3387 Don't feel guilty, that won't help you! I often don't remember names too I think it's because INFP'S are intuitive rather than sensing. We are looking at the overall picture not the details, or, the vibe or feelings or what the person is saying and what it might mean, at the same time missing details like names. If you understand why it might take time for you to remember details, why feel guilty about it, it's just your make up as a personality. We often notice other things instead and have very good memory for maybe what was said how you felt , but maybe not the name? It doesn't matter really. You just say sorry I forgot your name? 👍

I'm a believer that ENFP had thought of his question to themselves before and rambling to the mirror somewhere at 4AM but when asked on camera, they lost everything in their mind.. So the next best thing? Can't spell dieahre.. Diarege... Diarrhea.. Nail it.

I would say weaknesses are situational, but my most common weakness is being unsure how to speak to people when it comes to things that require bureaucracy(so basically scheduled stuff)

To my fellow intp, isfp, and intj out there... Do you often *thought* of the words you should've said after a conversation took place, Even if it happened LONG ago? Like, You had a conversation with one of your close friends or someone yesterday or long ago, and ur like: "Oh, why did i say that? I should've said this instead..." The next day or whatever

ENFP here. I decided being good at anything is too much work, so I'll just be terrible at everything. But my floundering brings a lot of laughs, so I guess I'm good at humiliating myself for other's amusement. Works great when the INTJ hubby is in his grumpy mood.

ISFP is more procrastinating till the last second than needing help and not asking anyone not because our pride can't handle it but because we don't want to bother anyone with our problems. Especially if it could have been solved if we hadn't procrastinated in the first place
