(INTJ) Here's a conspiracy for you. I had toothache about 10 years ago and went to the dentist. He was concerned the tooth could be growing at an angle and sent me to hospital for a full head scan. When he was reviewing the results, he asked "have you had brain surgery before?" "No, why?" "You have a metallic foreign body inside your brain!" I was advised that I would eventually need surgery to remove it or it could harm me. How can a person have brain surgery and not know 😒

If chicken's eggs are their period and we use it for our consumption and cooking, then does that mean humans' period blood are used for vampires' consumption and cooking? Human eggs, Dracula?
@OfficialSpyderr4 жыл бұрын
@@pragmagoth Well it is the exact same scenario. We can't look at the case in question from narrow minded perspectives as humans typically and naturally do. We have to look at this from a 3rd person perspective, like we are the players playing our characters in q game. So no binary anwers of yes or no as we need to consider each and every angle. To use eating chicken eggs is natural. To dracula consuming human blood is exactly the same, he needs to get his nutrients from somewhere afterall though he will need a lot of eggs from women which means harvesting the same woman many times over, or, harvesting many women just to give the same quantity of solid food and the same level of nutrients (I admit I'm not sure on what is in a human egg and how much, so I'm speaking from naivety in that regard). I would guess to get the same quantity of human eggs to match the level of a chicken egg, he would have to harvest at the very minimum of 10k women just to get even close to matching the size, because there will be some loss in the size of a single egg when it is extracted and we have to account for all that loss. Now for us humans, unless you are hannibal lector or just in general, a cannibal, for them eating human organs, flesh and blood is perfectly normal, though it is not normal by my standards and many others out there. For them, consuming humans is like what for me, consuming a pig would be and all that delicious bacon. I would look at cannibalism as unconventional and to some degree, unscrupulous, like a vegan would look at me like that. So to look at it from a moral or emotional possition would not serve to help so much as hinder. But I digress with that last point. I will end this here as there is little more I can day without slowly drifting back into the same rhetoric I've already stated. But from a straight forward logical position and out of context of narrow perspectives. There is no true difference but from a more moral, emotional and narrow view, it is nothing alike. Which of those roads you choose to go down is entirely up to you but as I am a creature of logic, I will stick with the more logical approach. Not that I practice cannabalism but it is the bigger picture out of the 2

This is just perfect, for my dad is an ENTP, my mum an ISFJ and me an INFP. It's always him coming up with politics, conspiracy theories, reading about something and wanting to constantly debate it and then drifting off in numerous other topics and totally losing any red line there was within minutes, even in a new topic just started :D And there is me who is constantly torn between not wanting to talk about politics and especially not debating (for hours on end literally xd) because it can become really exhausting and frustrating (and uninteresting partially as well) but meanwhile he is besides my best friend my best conversation partner with whom I can actually discuss about just anything and anything I want (which I'm also really grateful for) aaand I don't want to let him down with just leaving the room or so because I know how much he likes debating and talking with me etc. And finally there is my mum who is the most harmonious person there is but if a discussion gets heated or there is an on-going, seemingly never-ending debate or it's just about politics or similar in general, she just leaves and ends it right there...OR she wants us to switch topics or interrupt the debate to calm down again or to just stop talking so much and loudly and just sit still and enjoy the food she just made for us. :)

Yesterday me (ENTJ) with an INTP on a phone: ENTJ: and these cognitive functions make sense and you can reliably use personality types for these and these purposes and it all works! And look, mirror neurons are pretty much responsible for Fe, anomally firing amygdala would lead to Si/ Ni etc, I'm sure we can extend it to all functions! INTP: But how can they claim exactly so many personalities? What was their sample size? What do they mean by 'looking alike'? Where are their research papers with the set up description and control measurements? ME: No papers! It was all from observation of people till they started getting the same type independently of each other. And THEN they have got so many types and similarities in looks! INTP (dissappointedly): so, they were not taking any blood samples from the people they were typing?

I guess that's the big difference between INTPs and INFPs then ;) I hate having conversations where everyone agrees, what's the point? You're not looking for the truth, you're just reinforcing a preconceived belief that might very well be incorrect. If everyone agrees, I'll just disagree on purpose just to explore both viewpoints and - who knows - I might actually change my mind, and I'll have learnt something. And if not, it will reinforce my confidence that my views are actually correct. It's a win-win :)

I'm an INFP, and I love talking politics. And I prefer with people I don't really agree with, usually to get to know their standpoint, and why. Also, to explain where my standpoint comes from. I'd agree thou that I don't like talking politics with people who aren't actually really interesting in talking politics, or just want to skim the topic and move on to the next. And people who just want to tell what they think and not listen or open up for anything else, it's like talking to a brick wall.
@maddiethegladiator4 жыл бұрын
DexM47 I’m not opposed to hearing other view points - I just don’t constantly seek arguments. Political conversations are very rarely about seeking the truth. They’re heated and Polarized a majority of the time, so I avoid it. If I want to hear about another viewpoint, I research it.

The INTP - ESFP part made me inspired to show some of the inner workings of my mind. Me, an INFP: What is truth really, everyone sees everything from their subjective points of view and it's never really the same - math being the only thing we can't really argue about. I don't know if I believe in anything actually, at least not very sternly. I have thoughts about things, observations, but they are shallow and there's always more (okay yes I have some sort of subjective beliefs about people and myself, that's just how humans work, idk if I can explain myself understanding about that very clearly). I don't think we know all of the truth about any one thing in the world. That's kind of how I see it. No wonder other types may see INFPs as either ignoring "facts" and living in their fantasy world. It's just how my personality is a lot of the time, perhaps it's Ti demon or something, since I just either don't care or I ignore the Ti aspect of things. It's common that INFPs are even a bit scared of locking things into boxes, and they definitely don't want themselves to be boxed in, and thus we fear being misunderstood and all that. I can see how I've upset an INTP friend of mine in the past lol. Our subjective views (there's the word subjective again) are quite different, but that's just Fi Hero/Ti Demon vs Ti Hero/Fi Demon I guess. I'm sure a lot of people, especially types with high Thinking, disagree with me hahaha. I'm sorry guys
