Wouldn't it depend on the type of INTP? A and T approach things differently. Man, I would like to know.

Love the INTP mind. I just wish they would take better care of those flesh vessels. Many of them seem to be the human embodiment of the Pilsbury Dough Boy.

I’m INFJ/P with INTP dad and we’re both nonconformists with similar wavelength.

Yep, this is my son. He's got a heavy healthy dose of the that logical exploration. I'm so proud and justly enamored by his strong will. I definitely learned tonight that's it's best to meet his desire for freedom with a sense of humor. I love his confidence, and his logic might not be solid yet making his perception a bit off, that's completely okay. We just laughed about the the mishap. He's wanting more from this world testing boundaries, he's not the type to cross boundaries either unless given the okay. Making me love and trust him more. He's not a people pleaser by any means, but his heart is their full of those good extentions and bold beliefs. You guys rock!

Being an INTP, I learned that there is a diagram in my brain and every time I get a new piece of information I first verify it and then have to find the place it works into the diagram followed by discovering all the existing pieces of the diagram will have to be re-examined which then means the whole diagram has to be vetted. It takes time, but it’s the only way I can be comfortable. It’s not about being “right”, it’s about my worldview being consistent. It’s not easy and it is exhausting. It is also not something we asked for. (BTW: Why did you not know the man you married better before you said, “Yes”? Maybe you should have thought that through at least for a minute since he makes your life so miserable.

The fact that Ive been suspecting having Adhd for the LONGEST time 😭 Number 1 more teasing than sarcasm. I dont fully remember but there was this one time a friend was talking about something being teal and then another being blue. She talked aboit the teal thing and I JOKINGLY said "So basically blue?". She thoight I was speaking nonsense and I explained teal is a blue green, which is true, then she got so irritated with me for some reason and literally searched up both colouts and compared them for me to try get me see they are not the same. She was so pissy all of a sudden, it gave me WHIPLASH and I backed down cause clearly she took my teasing the wrong way😭Also HOLY HELL NUMBER 2! When a person says something so incredibly dumb and ignorant with the most confident, snobbish tone ever, and they keep on telling everyone that theyre right and no one can argue against them, that literally is a GUARANTEE to set me off. I am ALWAYS the first to criticise and shoot down their words until its a full on, heated argument cause theyre not willing to admit theyre wrong an Im not backing down, while everyone is dead silent. I am trying SO HARD not to get triggered by this stuff though cause I feel like Im being immature on my side, but I cannot find peace within me if I just sit back and keep quiet while I listen to such illogical misinformation.

I think that i understand what Fi was really along. I had a friend who always ask me if you think subjectively that you are correct then be it but im right too. And then i goes like, what subjective ? Its objective. Im a INTP btw. Now i understand that its not a Fe but more of a Fi that imitate Fe by seeing singulare point of view for each person into the group. Instead Fe is seeing the hole group having a unify values, not multiple same values with each person

I would have to disagree Warren Buffett is INTP. He clearly is an ISTJ considering he has the same routine whilst INTPs are not very good either routines.

My own observation and experience: Highly likely: INTP, INTJ, INFJ Likely: ISTJ, ENTP, ENTJ, ISTP, Possible: ENFP, ENFJ, INFP, ESTJ, ISFP Unlikely: ESFP, ESTP, ISFJ, ESFJ

Nathan, I would have to disagree of ISTJs being unlikely to be geniuses considering they are IQ wise the smartest of the sensors. I get along much better with them than with ENFPs as an INTJ. I know one ISTJ who is intelligent and far more successful monetarily speaking than the ENFPs I also know. Or have you forgotten Warren Buffet and Jeff Bezos who are some of the most wealthiest men in the world, and both are ISTJs. To be a millionaire, one needs to have intelligence, along with other important abilities, and vast majority of the wealthiest men in the world are xxTJs. Explain that and your reasoning?

Was typed as an INTJ for 3 years. Got typed again during conversation as an ENTJ. Looking back at my answers it makes total sense! I classified myself as an introvert too

If you have an underdeveloped INTJ friend in your life that will abandon you because you struggle to address thing then you probably don't want that person in your life. I say this being an INTJ. If you want to impact other peoples lives as an INTJs you need to develop enthapy for people who struggle to improve; you may be the catylist that gets them to move and INTJ's need advocates to help translate what's in our minds for others that we struggle to relate to, and to give us perspective so we can address our own blind spots.
