As an INTJ, the problem with this type of affection is that, when it’s perfectly done, the person you care for won’t have that future problem at all, not always understanding you were the one behind the scenes trying to make things easier for them. For that reason, people just don’t acknowledge the effort i put to please them, thinking i’m careless or whatever 🥴

Second guessing and doubting yourself can make it very exciting because after you build up a tower you tear it down to see if it builds up the same way again… thus proving the logic of what you discovered in the first place! It can be very gratifying, especially with ChatGPT!!! -oh and I do see myself as an intellectual imposter because I’m not a programmer, a scientist or anything that would be considered a high intellectual job. Rather, I’m a stay at home mom that spends way too much time on ChatGPT focused on world domination (intellectual world domination, not conquering nations 😉). Oh, and I don’t have a grandiose vocabulary, so I speak in a more simple and straightforward manner. I agree I wouldn’t call myself a genius (imposter), I would just call myself very curious and hungry driven to understand reality and myself.

Spot on! Exactly how I mother...not your cheerleader but more like a positive drill sergeant: "You *can* do this!" "You'll thank yourself later." "You could have had that done in half the time you took to whine about it." My fave mottos are the two Scout mottos rolled into one: "Do your best to be prepared, then be prepared to do your best!" I care but I'm not the coddling type.

All true. If the world really wanted to solve its problems, there wouldn't be a multibillion dollar a year media industry to convince people that they're helpless or inadequate. Our unrealized potential; what we could be,vs what we are, is the source of 80% of my consternation in this existence. Good man. I see you.

The amount of self control I’m exercising to not send this to my best friend to kindly express that her always complaining about but *never* actually attempting to solve her problems is pissing me off. I love her but it’s driving me insane. Also then the “it’s ok” response when I dig deeper. If it is ok then why did you complain about it to me for the last 30 minutes?!?! And it’s always problems that aren’t that hard to solve

As an istp, I understand and agree. Even though I don't necessarily try to solve future problems, I like to help the people I care about, and I get frustrated when someone just wants to talk about an issue without even trying to solve it
@claracatlady98446 сағат бұрын
@ it would be different if it’s like a large unsolvable issue that you just want to vent about because you feel powerless but no it’s always like the most mundane shit ever. An example “I’m spending to much money on take out” Maybe start cooking more “But I don’t have the mental energy for that” You could get something like Hello Fresh so you don’t have to think about what to make “But they don’t have any appealing vegetarian options” I’m sure there are specifically vegetarian alternative services “No, it’s ok. It’s fine”

@@claracatlady9844 yeah I gotchu, and that's what I mean, I'm not talking about genuinely serious tough shit that takes a considerable amount of time to solve, it's usually things like the stuff you mentioned.

I hate to say it, but I have used INTP subterfuge as a joke I was playing on everyone at work. I even one time convinced my good friend to bang a drug addict insane bipolar girl at work that was pretty funny.

hi! im an isfj c: i personally agree with all your opinions, it was very insightful. however i will argue that isfjs are extremely linguistic. although we are quite introverted, we can learn languages and speak to others very freely, as well as being nerdy at word games :p i also used to do crosswords with my grandma as a 6 year old every time i saw her so its just in my blood hehe /j

The fact that we are not understood may hurt in very early years, but frees us in early adulthood. We do not know social pressures, or the desire to fit in. It can be difficult to empathize and relate in normal conversations, as a lot of it, on a deeper level, is based around this idea of inclusion.

INTP in any investigation: the thought that something unexpectable, unpredictable is about to come up, changing the plans, notwithstanding the overanalyzing. I must be ready up at all times.

I’m an INTP dancer, and I actually find this odd because I’ve always preferred the dance styles with less rules, though I think this is because I treat it as a way to explore my Ne more than anything.
@DeeevagirlКүн бұрын
I think when it comes to dancing the rules are also less rewarding, say in martial arts if you follow the rules you will be more successful, however with dance I find them restricting

I am not emotionally detached normally, i mean like with friends, relationships but i certainly do have the capability to detach myself completely from almost anything people related without any hesitation but yeah I don't do that very often, idk if its because of how I think about morality or is it a trauma response lol
