As an INTJ I always have at least plan B, if not C,D,E… to cover all possible problems I can think of. i'm an enfp that used to meticulously plan everythingggggg when i was younger for the sake of productivity, once i literally planned my six week summer holidays to the minute but i don't think i managed even a single day, my inability to be consistent and disciplined was a massive point of struggle for many years and i'd wonder 'if i like smth why can't i just do it????', eventually i gave up trying to be disciplined and realised that i actually don't really need it in the traditional sense and learning about mbti has explained why that all is, i've always thrived in chaos and now i embrace it as one of my biggest strengths :))

Lack of understanding for your time-blindness... Get your sh!t together and fix your issues. You need to learn not to live on the premise of immortality, to learn time-economy and the fact it's a finite resource - which you DON'T get now, at the gut level, emotionally. That's why you have no focus and proper PRIORITIES (hierarchy of values). Start studying Objectivism systematically. Save your one life. Also, your parents failed to raise you properly: you were left to your own devices... weren't made to do anything, weren't expected to achieve anything, nothing was getting measured... that results in the creation of time-blind bums (xxxPs).

The ENTJ describes my (ENTJ) special lady in precise. And I would also like to add, her productivity might be threatened if she doesn't get enough praise for her work to motivate her. There is a definite resistance to life progress that I feel as an ISFP. I have a lot of requirements for myself to be who I want to be in the day to day (I guess short term alignment?) to the point I lose track of my career or what I want to be doing as an overall life goal. Like, I think ballerinas are beautiful, so I do my best to exercise, eat well and learn ballet. And I think that learned people are more interesting to talk to, so I’m trying to read more and research more in depth my interests. Even so, I know what job environment I like, flexible, tolerant and mostly calm, and that I want to do something that has a human impact, but I’m too lazy to take the tangible steps to get there day by day. Even though I want to do it and DO do it, even a little phone call exhausts me. Maybe I’ve lived an easygoing life for too long…

I am an INFP with an ESTJ dad and an ISFJ mom (INTJ brother) I drove my mom and dad crazy constantly. They never allowed me to be me because "there is only one way to do things and one way only. Play by the rules and stay in your lane." They hated personal expression and Individuality because to them it was a monkey wrench in the machine and was not efficient. Things could always be done faster and more efficiently. My dad was driven mad by my difficulty to start tasks. Ultimate we had a good family and they see now that I can be me and they Don't have to worry endlessly if I won't be the person that they had wanted me to be. 👌

INTP here. The word "teamwork" certainly sends shivers down my spine, not an easy concept...and even when vaguely accepted, my concept of "teamwork" might not really translate well to others. Recently I've been involved in some work with participation by some other people, and trying to get these people to actually do things has been kind of a drag...but admittedly my idea of participation is "everyone do their stuff, then we'll bring all the results together to advance the common goal", while it is possible that some others should actually, you know, actively work together to get something done. Sigh. Now I am wondering which would actually produce better results, just dump the participation part as much as possible (if someone does something, great, but don't expect anything) or participate in this kind of hand-holding...(hey, I am old and mature enough to actually consider that as a question with two possible answers)

I’ve found that I prefer to loosely structure my planning, in the form of lists of what I need to do, and choose the order and time at will… or sometimes I’ll chuck it altogether, and simply end my day by writing down what I did throughout the day. Still get to check it off lol.

If you want to finish things you're going to have to annoy yourself and take a note or make an alarm to remind yourself late but you can't let yourself get distracted from the thing you're currently working on" while talking about how often he says "idk that seems like a lot of work, and i dont care that much" i was struck by how I cant remember ever saying that.
