Honestly, I always knew that INFPs and ENFPs are such a chaotic due. It's not because they get in trouble or anything because INFPs usually like to be under the radar, but it's because of their wild imagination and creativity they can just talk about anything and all the conversation are bound to be hectic and weird.

As an INFP I can say that this is so true. I get fascinated by the most stupid things. I often feel like a little kid because of that. I'm an ENTP with an INFP/ENFP friend. We talk about farts a lot. And if not farts, we talk about what we would do hypothetically if we saw someone fall down the stairs and die since we like to sit at the window facing the stairs where we can see everyone climb up. We both decided that we would just keep sitting there and pretend that nothing happened. Or maybe move to another table.

ENFP/ENTP amalgamation here though I do also have ADHD, but... do start working on those habits! It only lasts for so long. I'm not saying do it for school, maybe find something that fires you up but is too challenging without changing those habits and then work on it and change those habits for that thing. Don't be like me and daydream about suddenly being a different person starting tomorrow and doing all those things. Or be like me and ignore tasks like that so as to not have to face your identity isn't that of a genius supernatural prodigy or smth. It was fun for me too, it made me feel smart and good about myself. But it only lasts so long. And then everyone around you (who you thought and probably still think are less intelligent than you, at least in those aspects) are doing way better than you. And you know you could do even way better, but you're just not doing it. Habits are one heck of a beast. Not working on them doesn't mean staying neutral. Whatever you do or not do you're building habits. Just sharing this from my personal pain. Noone guided me, perhaps they perceived me as smart enough and mature enough. Everyone around me acted like all I need it to do is to just stop being lazy, silly me. And so I thought it must be that easy, "just" stop, and I'll totally do it one day. Lo and behold I spend so many years doing so many wrong things, so many wrong and harmful for me behaviors, especially with the hindsight that I had ADHD. Life is complex. Such a beautiful, challenging, complex adventure. Hope on sooner. Start playing mindfully sooner. Or you might get very discouraged down the line. Check out Justin Sung from I Can Study, watch his videos on efficacy. Perhaps it'll inspire you. And I really hope this all isn't rude of me to say. Just speaking from my personal pain... I wish someone had told me this. I wish you all the best!

I'm an INTP. In one of my Communications classes in college, we did a group activity in which we deliberated which survivors of a shipwreck to fit onto a lifeboat. I found it odd to structure this as a group activity, as it was assumed that "we" (as in, a single student) were definitely on the lifeboat. I was the only person - not only in the group but also in the entire class - who, judging based on utility in a survival scenario, didn't assume that I was going to be on the boat and, in fact, refused to put myself on the boat. The entire class (instructor included) basically turned against me and eventually shut me out of the argument/exercise altogether when I wouldn't waver on my stance. And that's why I'd never be part of any group if it meant anyone's survival. Not because I wouldn't necessarily be useful but because I think the group would just end up killing me out of frustration or something. Not to mention the fact that I apparently don't have any drive to survive. Haha.

I've just about finished my education, having had primary school, secondary school at TL (a higher than average level) (scoring above 8/10 average on exams), and now mbo bol4 (the highest (theoretical) level you can get into with the TL education I had up until then). In primary school, I was studying, occasionally alongside my parents, a considerable amount. From then on, I studied less and less and my marks stayed at the same level. I was figuring out I could get away with spending less effort on my education. Eventually, I stopped thinking. Wait no, I did stop studying, pretty much, though. I mean, why get a 9,5 with effort if you can get an 8 without? Then hbo hit me as I signed up for my choice of hbo maths during my mbo engineering education. I considered myself pretty outstanding at maths, but that shit was torturous. On top of having to cycle an ungodly distance to even reach the damn campus I needed to go to for it, there was such a god-load of paperwork I needed done. Test came around, sure enough, I hadn't studied more than I saw fit, and I've quite forgotten whether I had a passing score. It was at this moment that I knew, I f*cked up.

I like how you put types in families. With subtiles clues : "Quadradic formula" The INTJ is so acurate : there were always children to disrupt my concentration, by pushing my chain, mocking at me or others, talking, throwing ink cartridges at the ceiling, making fun of the teacher, moving their legs, making noise with their pen, throw pieces of eraser and balls of paper. Put people in family/quadra looks like weird & chaos.

Ah... The infj would just be there in the corner like @.@ and "listening" to some enfp trying to get them out of their shell or something and talking about their crazy ideas... while the infj is actually mentally just questioning life in a depressing way and wondering if they were really drunk or not. Then go home alone and test out peeing in the shower to see if it's all its cracked up to be since there was finally an internal excuse to blame it on. Then go to sleep. INFP would probably start out talking to an enfj about their life and gradually make less and less sense while making more and more jokes... Then when the enfj gets distracted the infp falls asleep in the middle of a daydream. Enfj would help them walk out and make sure they got a ride home before returning to the scene to look for more drunken deep conversations to have with friends in the corners, then ends up finding the enfp and they start getting sappy about how happy they are to be friends and hugging it out. INTJ was dragged in by a coworker, had a couple drinks, decided everyone else was stupid, and left. Intp never showed up and is home drinking alone while gaming. Entj is having a great time and is joking around while having a debate over at the bar stools. Entp is talking about the future and the crazy shit that might go down in it. ESFJ is probably talking to the bartender about their day and buying their friends drinks, making sure everyone is having a good time. Isfj is at a table with a few coworkers, smiling politely and engaging in some mild conversations but not drinking much and planning to wait until a moment when it seems they have been there long enough to politely dismiss themself and go home. ESTJ is at the table talking about work and taking shots to try to forget about Timmy. Istj is still at work after picking up some extra hours so as to appear too busy to attend this outing while earning money and being productive, plus getting in some time to work alone, away from all the annoying coworkers. Esfp is mingling between a couple groups, dancing like crazy, and laughing at the antics of the estp. ESTP is riding the bull or playing ping-pong or pool and making bets. ISFP started out joking around but ended up talking about their future with the entp. ISTP is making sarcastic jokes and ended up in the debate with the entj before getting drunk enough to challenge to ESTP to a game of pool. 🤷🏻‍♂️
