As an INFP, music makes me immediately go into my creative thinking zone if it's one I've heard before. Ahhh I love this so so much! I loved the ENFP’s weird And unique dancing at the start- I personally have no coordination and am terrible but it’s fun! I loved the ENFP- INTJ dynamic because Omg it’s very much like that. The ENFP is at the same wavelength just only for a micro second then gets distracted by a bunch of other ideas! Like we stay there for a microsecond- no deep thought just vibes and then we shock you with a deep thought that just comes into our head at that minute- and then it goes as quick as it arrives. Also great call back to the “16p dating their own type” videos with the ENFP in the red jumper and the dancing (same outfit). Who I’m assuming is either Ashley or Abigail. Also the ISFP reference to 16p on a rainy day and the ISFJ call back to the writing a song video Even the way the ENFP is sitting in the scene with the INTJ is so spot on- like I sit like that so much- and can’t sit still to save my life. Also the “ooh we could go to one of those cute little beach towns” and “ooh we could befriend the kangaroos”- really is me in every conversation.
@bowmaster202 жыл бұрын
I was so hoping there'd be a callback to the 16P dating their own type. In that video, when the ESFP's started the LaLa Land Song/Dance I remember thinking that I'd 10000000% get down on that if my friends were doing it... then IT HAPPENED! One of my favorite moments from all the DK videos. And the weird ENFP dancing in this one - yeah I feel attacked and rightfully so! My wife and I got into latin and swing dancing several years ago and I LOVE IT, but even after all these years no matter how good I get, I lack all "SE suave." But I also loved how the ENFP went from being friends with kangaroos on little beach towns to having smart deep insights about future possibilities sprinkled with a huge dash of cynicism about the failings of people and society, and then uhh dancing. ACCURATE, 10/10

OML, This was a masterpiece ✨️ The ESFP, ENFP, ENTP and INFJ part was awesome, specially the P vs J part, where it's like, "Practice? (Planning and preparing beforehand) Who needs that?" XD The alternate captions were the funniest thing I've ever seen The next scene was cool too, I love how the ENFJ just popped in, the other two denied to having insecurities and then the INFJ came in, explaining everything XD The next scene was also hilarious, I love how it went from silently vibing into a "WHAT IN THE WORLD-" moment XDD The "Spoopy didgeridooooo" and INTJ's reply to it was hilarious XD I absolutely love the portrayal of their dynamic and the running gag of the INTJ and mountain lions (With that much determination, you will *definitely* get there one day, INTJ 😌) I side with the ENTJ on this, sorry, ISTJ, regardless of what you say, looking deeper into something would be *really* enjoyable for me - v - Hahaha, sorry, Kristen, but despite how you tried to throw us off, the INFP was the easiest guess, cause as soon as I saw that face, I just *knew* it, and yes, I agree, 10 minutes of being alone is not enough TvT The ISTP was obvious XD I love how they went into describing all that in detail, and yes, the "WHY DIDN'T IK THAT?!" convo has gone down between me and my sibling *multiple* times, despite being freaking siblings, I find out things I didn't even know about before, like, every other day TvT I also loved how ENFJ interpreted the song psychologically, and INTP just either noticed a... different kind of detail or did some research about the song, that was pretty accurate XD Also, the singing at the end was lit, it's not my favorite kind of music, but your voice is really amazing, Kristy, I loved it, thanks for the video, and make sure to take some rest when you need it, alright? While that is true. This is the great weakness of the INTJ. We don't need people but we do. I can go months with near total isolation, but I get that itch to go out and socialize. I need to talk to people about ideas to get feedback or to lecture them on the deep mechanics of a new idea. Also, I need people because being total self sufficient is impossible for 99.99% of the population. It's way harder then it looks because all of our training/education ignores survival slill sets.

INFJ here and I completely relate to the INFJ in this video. As a believer, I gather and fellowship with other believers on the Biblical Sabbath. At that gathering they do have a service, and they do Hebraic (or Davidic) dancing. For a long time, I didn't participate because I hadn't practiced. I didn't know what I was doing. Especially since, this kind of dancing is meant as a form of worship, and me being how I am, I tend to be in my head while dancing, especially if there are certain steps to take. I'd be concerned about being in my head more than the actual act of worship. However, after some time, I have learned the steps to some of the dances,. So I feel more confident to participate without being in my head too much. Lol!

My gosh, I was so thoroughly confused by all of the other types talking about art and subliminal messages and deep stuff, and was so grateful when the ISTJ, without raising her voice, basically said, "Shut up, all of you" and validated my feelings! : ) Also, I've started to notice a "Kristin face" when you're just so excited to do some kind of silly thing, regardless of what type you're playing, and it cracks me up every time, mainly because it reminds me of my other ENFP friends who love to catch me off-guard with their humor!

As an INTP composer, I am trying to put enough Fe into making the songs accessible/relatable to people who aren't me. So the ISTJ is written in part to make fun of myself. I say intricate, you say needlessly complicated. I want to be right, but...many times in my songwriting past, I was not right.
@EpicPaul642 жыл бұрын
Well, to be fair, it was hard to hear the songs over Kristin's voice, so I'll have to reserve judgment for now. I will say that I admire the fact that you're actually showing up in the comments! I wish more sponsors and artists would be willing to actively engage with their viewers/listeners instead of coming across as so distant and corporate. As far as an "ISTJ friendly song," I'm not sure if such a thing is possible to put into one concrete definition, as I think our Introverted Sensing and Introverted Feeling would dictate whatever "feels familiar," but if you've ever heard the songs in the Once Upon A Time musical, that would be my style of lyrics: making it abundantly clear what the singers are trying to say instead of guessing about hidden meanings. But the fact that you're even trying at all to appease other types earns my deep respect without even needing to hear the lyrics!

@@EpicPaul64 Thank you for this! I'm not a traditional sponsor in that I'm also a patron and I comment a lot here anyway. I'm a fan first and sponsor second, in terms of what I'm enjoying today. (Plus, I've received a nasty illness recently and am bedridden, so comment replies are practically all I'm capable of.) My interpretation of what Si wants most in music is that the song is true to something, such as genre. The Te backs that up with wanting the song to be practical in a sense. Putting those together, I see ISTJ-centric music as being demonstrably true to established forms - to go with what *works.* An unhealthy Si-dom is likely to say, "That's not REAL rock music," or cite rules of composition learned in music education. (From my end, an unhealthy Ti might put a bunch of metallic noises together and call it a song. Just because I *can* structure it doesn't mean I *should,* if you get my meaning.) Kristin's song is the most Si-heavy on the album, in that I stuck to 1 genre ('70s game show music) and made sure every instrument was from that era. "V of Mood" is similar but with '80s instruments. Kristin's song could have been made in 1977; the other one could have been made in 1989. That sort of Si-true decision at the front helps keep me from going off the rails every single song.

I'm actually really fascinated by your descriptions of how your composition process works, so please feel free to pester my inbox! As for my own approach to music, it's similar to what you were saying, now that you've put it into words, as I constantly get mad at video games that have "fake music" if they won't use real instruments. That being said, if the context is better suited for electronic music, I could make an exception if the music is melodic enough to fit the atmosphere. I like music that is "epic-sounding" and conveys a feeling of excitement and intensity, especially if the instruments are real! As far as music outside of video games, I usually don't like too many of them, especially if they are used to downplay a person's existence in the moment (such as if someone puts in headphones and doesn't hear what I have to say or just turns on the car radio for... reasons...) That's why I love the Nintendo Switch so much, because it's portable and I can take the music to others and say, "Listen to what video games are capable of now!" I dunno if any of that sounded like a "typical ISTJ", but I also think that we have such a hard time understanding the concept of art as a medium of expression that I'm amazed that I like anything at all...

As an INTJ, I must say the part about moving to a dark forest on an island, far away from governments and people, sounds pretty nice. I would love the opportunity to put my survival skills to the test, to spend my days doing physical labour, working towards meaningful goals in terms of my own survival and improved living standards, while spending nights reading until exhaustion takes me, and the cycle begins once more at the break of dawn. There is something to be said for adversity, for testing yourself, for having only yourself to count upon. Success of that kind can lead to a massive boost of confidence in ones own ability, and a genuine feeling of meaningfulness often lacking in modern society. To spend ones days laboring towards a clear goal that will have immediate and serious benefits, as opposed to simply going through motions, spending hours and hours working away on a computer, getting by, but not feeling like anything your doing matters, is of consequence, even when you perform your tasks well. I think many people (at least in the west) could benefit from spending a few weeks out in the woods, without technology. It needn’t be actual survival, even bare bones camping I think could help a lot of people, remind them of what’s really important in life, of who they are, and what it is they would like their future to be. At the very least, it would temporarily lead to a greater appreciation for the luxury we live with today, from running clean water, to electricity, to air conditioning, nearly any food on command, all the entertainment one could wish for.
@silverfeather23152 жыл бұрын
hey there.. fellow ENFP here.. so in 2020 in middle of pendamic we lived without electricity for like 1-1.5 month.. like we did not planned for that but crazy hurricane happened.. so like that hurricane tore down trees blocking the roads and taking down electricity lines... I still remember it was the 3rd June cause my birthday was near and me and my brother had a bet whether electricity would come by birthday or not.. he won and it was my first birthday without any wishes from outside the family and it sucked.. anyways when the hurricane came and went it was already evening so we just went to sleep like electricity was already cut off since morning to prevent the accidents.. and my dad maybe had better foresight that he thought ahead of time so he switched off and locked up all phones to save battery.. and later we woke up and opened the balcony just to see outside being a complete disaster..like at the night time we couldn't really see anything but now in sun we could see the complete mess the hurricane left behind.. and then the rest of the week was a nightmare.. like I felt for the first time how Rapunzel must have felt living 18 years in that godforsaken tower without electricity..well we lived on 3rd floor apartment and it was the top floor and cause of lockdowns no one was allowed to get out of house except for dad cause to bring necessities.. I litrally lived the Rapunzel life for for a month and trust me its pretty depressing cause on top of that she was alone and at least I was with my family like at least I had some stimuli but she had none.. and no wonder she was so good at painting.. well back to the topic after a week we kinda got used to the routine like finish all the work before the sun goes down.. we even ate our dinners at evenings when we could still see things in natural lighting.. we would watch stars at night and at that time I thought realized that light pollution is a real thing after experiencing it first hand..before we really could not see the stars clearly but at that time we could everything clearly in the moonlight..never knew it was that bright.. and in daytime I would paint and freaking STUDY like I never even dreamed that I would study cause I got bored but I did and I experienced how people in the old times used to study and realized its cause there was no entertainment that's why study became the entertainment.. and in that I studied like 2 chapters and its still in my mind.. my dad was also shocked seeing me studying by my own like without anyone's pressure.. anyways I also spent most of my time daydreaming, making bubbles (did that after years,, I miss my childhood), spraying water on walls cause it was summer and there was no electricity to cool down..oh BTW there was no water for first 2-3 days too but as usual my dad was ahead of time and we already stored water so it was not problem but we still have to use as little as possible.. till the water trucks comes after roads are cleared.. there was no water cause of electricity.. so my mom and dad would go all the way down and bring buckets of water and fill the tank and buckets at evening.. roads got cleared up in 2-3 days was because many people volunteered to help.. and repairing the electricity lines took like a month.. like in half a month we got electricity on the other side of town so my dad used to go to my friend's house to charge all the electronic supplies.. my dad even bought a small (not that tiny but like approx. 70x45 cms) solar panel and converter and we used that for like 10 days and electricity finally came.. well we didn't knew how much time it would take to repair all the lines that's why it was more adventurous like it could come in 15 days or a month no one knew.. well ngl I hated this experience for a week but I really liked it like if I get to turn back time I would change nothing.. well maybe buy more power banks and hide them for my birthday but still I wouldn't change a thing and experience this all over again.. and maybe buy more art supplies too edit : I accidentally hit the sent icon mid story so I am just continuing
Meaningful goals that repeat themselves at the break dawn... One must imagine Sisyphus happy.

4:02 oh gosh this is relatable haha Whenever I say something mildly profound people seem shocked by it even though often times what I said didn't seem that deep to me Made me realize that although I'm having very deep and emotional thoughts relatively frequently, I'm not really externalizing those things. So although I view it as a very important part of my identity and personality, how could other people possibly know that if I don't show any of it? It wasn't until recently (like a year ago) that I've learned to show my Fi and not be afraid of saying something serious or vulnerable. I have to say, finding people who I could trust and were also willing to be open was extremely freeing. As much as I love being a joke, it's nice to be taken seriously when it matters.

0:03 The classic mistake of thinking that "Romance languages" are called "Romance languages" because they are romantic. No. "Romance languages" are called that because they evolved from Latin, which was the language of Rome. So a "Romance language" means a language which evolved from Rome's language (Latin).

The music is actually nice and that comes from a metalhead 🤣 Well done guys! The EXFPs dancing moment was priceless XD To be honest while I have myself said the exact words the ISFJ says, my expression and tone has been like ISTP's knowing me. 🤣 And it's true! I have been working in theater and films, which is my major and also as an illustrator and I struggle so much because the artists are almost always brilliant yet chaotic NPs and they can never follow a schedule.

That was awesome ! The INFJ reaction is so accurate. I'm mentally unable to do anything if I didn't prepare for it. I always say to myself: "if you want to do something, make sure to do it well or simply don't do it." I even struggle to understand things like why do people want to dance if they don't know how to ? It would probably result in a mess (I'll let people be the judge of that here ah ah !) And thanks to MBTI, I know exactly why. It's because I'm a stranger to spontaneity. Inferior Se makes spontaneously dancing by physically feeling the rhythm very difficult for INFJs or any sensory activity. So we mentally prepare for knowing what to do in the moment. If I was actually dancing without lessons, I would probably look like an INTP, not even able to compute 😂. Learning how to do it in the first place helps me to face sensory situations like this. Full insecurity here, the ENFJ is correct lol. That's why if I dare to dance, I'll necessarely look at least decent. The INFJ's disappointement regarding the lyrics and things never being how he wanted it to be is also pretty accurate. We always end up being disappointed by people not reaching the ideals we wish for the world. Also the concept of this album is absolutely great. And of course good job Kristin, as always 👍.

I'm an infj and dance every day, but I can't dance in front of other people (except two of my friends and even then I'm too insecure to do it as well as I would in my room). I can doe choreo, but freestyle is a no for me and that's the main issue why I refuse to dance at parties. My enfp friend is the opposite, she struggles with choreo and is more comfortable with freestyle. My isfj friend will do both tho.

Dark forest on an island... may have to note that one down. And modern society is heading for inevitable collapse. I do tend to listen to music like that though, I tend to use music as a means of immersing myself in writing or blocking out the screaming children outside my window that never stop interfering with my work (their existence is an argument for why certain people simply shouldn't be allowed to breed...). Tend to listen to a lot of video game soundtrack though since I find it is very useful for self-immersion and I can usually find a track to match either a setting or a tone I want to create.

IIRC one of Lili's videos featured some INTP dancing, which can be a sight to behold. Being Ti dom, dancing is conceptual and intellectual, and they are _my_ concepts, which might take inspiration from others' moves but are by no means not copying them. And I guess it takes a while for INTPs to get into dancing (and some never do) since Si needs to develop, and a smidgen of Fe helps as well (also in a sense that you should be able to control your Fe to not be too self-conscious about others). But here Si is not so much about sticking to a memorized rote, but being aware of your own body, conscious about it, my internal senses. I could say I dance a bit like a robot (which is not necessarily like "doing the Robot", those models of robots are outdated) in that as I am aware of my body parts, I make them move, isolated or simultaneous. No need to practice, I have a concept of dancing and can apply it on a go. But I also enjoy careful practised choreographies, synchronised movements of bodies in space, which I guess is also a Si+T-dom thing. But when I'm dancing I want a bit of space: I'm no good at ballroom dancing, taking consideration of a partner on a go, which I guess is a Se thing, and I don't like too crowded dance floors either, because you can't really dance properly when you are bumping all the time to others.
