I think that when people are pretending to be someone they are not on a first date, they would continue doing the same until their date finds out the truth. This kind of relationships don't have a high chance of succeeding. I think that it is better to be yourself on a first date and get dumped, than to be dumped three months later for the same reasons + lying.

Precisely that is difficult to dose because my xNFP type is so sensitive to the 'mood' in a room. Also I'm most attracted INTP en INFJ and INTJ. Why? Someone can't be the same extraverted intensity as I. Competing energy of this magnitude will exhaust me. I want one I can be alone with, but together. I like Intuitiveness that matches with mine. The T and J are both handy in decision making processes, which is my weakness. As an INFJ, I can say that the ENFP/INFJ relationship really is just meant be. You ENFPs are complex, fun, spontaneous, and importantly for us empathetic and passionate about making the world a better place, while we tend to be empathetic and complex, but kinda overly cautious and not spontaneous enough, and afraid to put ourselves out there even though we love people and want friends. ENFPs always appreciate our viewpoints and push us out there to do things that are good for us, while we help them to focus more specifically and narrowly so they finish things more often, and often inform/counsel them on various things as they ask for advice. Quite frankly, we are compatible as a kind of a form of yin and yang that don't clash but rather collaborate and harmonize. Even in the functional stack, ENFPs and INFJs have the same functions in the same order just opposite in the context of introversion and extroversion. INFJs have the primary function Ni while ENFP are Ne, secondary Fe vs. Fi, tertiary Ti vs. Te, and inferior Se vs. Si. It makes for great conversations. I have a complicated semi-romantic but mostly friend relationship with an ENFP who lives incredibly far away, and he is the only person I can talk on the phone with for 8 hours straight without getting bored. It works because he has intense passion for a life and is an extreme extravert, while also being an extreme intellectual. He will bring up one interesting thing after another (a very Ne sort of thing) and I basically go deeper into that subject, and he allows me to flesh everything out even if it's a straight up long monologue, and we go onto someone else. And at the end, we both always feel as if we learned something (or a lot), in a form of essentially catharsis. Also, my sister whom I live with is an ENFP and we just click. She's super fun and insanely charming and giving, almost excessively empathetic towards people and cares ultra-deeply as I do about social justice of various kinds, and we just kinda balance each other out as siblings and as friends. Considering how well I always get along with ENFPs, it would not surprise me if my future spouse or partner ends up being one. ENFPs, you make the world a better place by bringing raw emotion, positive energy, compassion, and love to it, and we INFJs need you to save us from ourselves.

The last first date I had was with my ESTJ husband of 11 years. He later told me he called the restaurant beforehand, let them know this was special, made sure we had a table for two off in a more private area of the restaurant, he had them hold a rose for me that he gave to me upon arrival...he was earlier than me and I’m a punctual person. @@quirogatnonerrat3214 well, as an INFJ everyone is easy to read especially ESTJs. As INFJs we have a wisdom that surpasses the sensory world. He sees me as insightful and I do teach him a lot. He is very practical so definitely gets frustrated in general at mine and everyone’s overall lack of quickness and efficiency in the physical world but I’m driven so I do my best, always staying productive. ESTJs, well at least mine, have a fun side, they like vacations, couples massages, exercise, watching comedy, and relaxing with good meals. I make light and jokes of his rigidity and sternness. He also has a great sense of humor. They are very charming to the world. Be yourself and if the ESTJ doesn’t appreciate you then they are just not your person.

Absolutely rad dragon shirt!! I'm an infp and I think that way basically every time I am getting dressed or buying clothes. I tend to think about my clothes as an expression of myself. Except for when I am dressing to impress another person, then I fight myself on whether or not I am being genuine enough.
