I never had biryani can you please explain?
@WinterCrystal10093 жыл бұрын
@@timothytobing7212 Well for me, the problem was the fact that they sprinkled chili powder on the rice and that the mixing was done horribly. Like, so biryani is composed of two parts: the curry and the rice. You first make the curry and dump the rice in and mix it. You add the chili powder to the curry not the rice or else it won't be fully developed. Along with that, the curry and rice are supposed to be well mixed, meaning you shouldn't see any clumps of nuts etc (like in this example) when serving as it's supposed to already be evenly mixed in the pot.

In Brazil we have a rice dish called "Baião de Dois", which is made of rice and beans. Baião de Dois is usually made with leftover beans, so the raw rice is added to the already cooked beans until the rice. Other seasonings like onions, tomatoes, bell pappers, cheese, butter and nata can be added (nata is a dairy product from our region, it's a type of salty cream). It's often paired with fried or roasted meats and is a staple food from the Northeast region of Brazil.

We can have rice as a side, main, a whole meal in itself, sweetened for dessert as rice kheer or even used as flour for sweet modaks, and even dry rice crackers for snacks, ANNND dried and then fried as papad 🤩 This is just in India, I'm sure the rest of Asia's countries have many more variations!

In Poland, we eat the rice as a side dish, with meat and veggies. It's also one of ingredients of one of popular polish dishes, known as Gołąbki (Gołąb means Pigeon in Polish). It's polish take on romanian sarmale and is also known as "Polish Cabbage Rolls". In this dish, this roll's filling is made by mixing of minced meat with rice and, later, the cabbage leaves are rolled aroud filling. It's topped with tomato sauce.

Arab rice dishes are plenty; you gave koshari in Egypt, maqlouba and qedra rice in Palestine, mansaf in Jordan, kabsa/matchbous in the GCC region, and dolma/mahshi which is a stable in Egypt, the levant, iraq, and turkey. Also, many regions have their version of sweet rice dishes, such as "ruz wa haleeb" or rice and milk and an iraqi dish which includes sweetened rice which is eaten with fish

Paella never has onion, it makes rice so soft ._. BTW: To call it "Paella", the main ingredientes are Bomba rice (a special rice grown in Valencia), rabbit, chicken, garrofones (big white beans), tomato, garlic, green beans and saffron. The "Paellas" shown in the video are "rice with things" as we weould say in Spain.
