+Carol G Because there are a bunch of narrators, so there's not one personality you can latch on to or project yourself onto like you get with MCP's channel and the others. Here the Clement fans can get disappointed because a bunch of times it's not him, the Otir Jiry fans often end up having to listen to someone else, etc. Also they came late to the dramatic reading game so a bunch of the popular stories have already been read. Plus their production quality slows them down so they don't pump out six short videos a day like a lot of popular vloggers do. And finally, they don't chase trends like video game stories enough to get tap into all those fanbases.

It's 2:18 a.m. and I've been suffering with a maddening migraine for two days. I have a special eye covering as the photophobia is really bad, so there's no reading or watching tv. Before I got me phone with KZbin, Netflix, Tubi, Hulu, etc. I used to put the tv on shows like CSI or Law and Order and the like. I would keep the volume low and just listen. Then I got my mobile phone and let go of my land line, and expensive cable tv. Being on SS sucks but I try to be as thrifty as possible. After all when you get to your late 60's early 70's your needs and wants change. I love being able to have access to all the Asian dramas that I love and more importantly these stories that keep me company all night and a lot of painful days. I'm so appreciative of all the work you put into your compilations and that they can keep me from focusing on these terrible migraines when they decide to rear their ugly heads. It so convenient to put in my ear phones , eye protector, rolled heating pad for my neck and try to relax with these stories. It's amazing how well they work too. I find that after taking my pills and getting comfy, I fall into the rhythm of the stories and my overactive imagination takes me to the world of the story teller. Jeff has some of the greatest stories and his writing is such that I don't have to think but just listen and "fall into" the story. I'm just so grateful that at my age you've made life easier and I don't feel so alone, especially when I'm not so we'll. “A Story to Scare My Son” is actually horrifying. When I heard the killer’s fake voice while the father was peaking in on his son, every one of my hairs stood on end. That shit is actually scary. I read it so many years ago and knew what was coming, but that story still never fails to scare me.

The story about Gore Orphanage is absolutely true. It's somewhat famous in Ohio. I don't think they know what caused the fire but the orphanage did in fact burn down around the turn of the century, killing a number of people. It's a popular haunt for ghost hunters in this area. I live about 45 minutes away from it. I've been by it many times but have never actually been there. It's a local legend that it's haunted af.

I have been listening to this channel for well over 7 years through more than 3+ accounts. No matter how many times I listen to these stories they are always scary, I applaud you all for that. This is also my favorite video to date. use it a lot to help me fall asleep.
