Evening Eric, at least have a get home bag and a kit in your vehicle. You may never have to leave, but chances are more than likely you may have to get home one day or some people could be trapped out in a storm. (snow or hurricane).

Practice "what ifs" in your mind. What would I do if... I had to get home from here?... The grid goes down right now?... I used my last tourniquet on someone?... We have run out of eggs and egg powder? I wake up to a home invader right before dawn... I harvested from a willow tree and I need to make an aspirin substitute... Etc etc. Yes practice by physically doing, but keep your mind busy while waiting for appointments, when riding as a passenger, or when recovering from an operation... Prisoners of war (who played golf every day in their minds) were better golfers after release than they were before their capture... and they had no real practice... so combine real practice with mental practice... visualize every step you would take and how you will overcome things that can go wrong.

I know this is not a religious channel but a vital part of preparedness includes being spiritually aware. The Lord God must come first in our hearts and live a life pleasing to Him. We can have all the preps available, and we should, and still lose our way for the lack of understanding.

I’ve been working out to gain strength and lose body fat for the last couple years (down from about 280 to 220lbs). Was talking to my barber about preparedness and I mentioned I’m trying to lose as much body fat as possible. He’s in his late 30s and was in his mid-late teens in Iraq during the invasion in 2003. He disagreed about losing TOO much body fat. In his experience the people that had a little extra to lose faired better than those that were already quite lean when the food got scarce. What do you guys think about lean vs having a 10-20 lbs of fat reserves?
@jackpresson796916 күн бұрын
During the Gulf War I was a USAF WSO assigned to a USMC A-6E squadron as a BN. I had been weight lifting with the Marines and when we got to the Gulf I started eating a lot. They told me I needed to stay lean and mean. I told them I learned at Land Survival School that if you become a POW, fat people get skinny and skinny. people die. Didn't have to do either one and came back after being deployed for 344 days.

It’s a shame we are so focused on surviving that we have forgotten our declaration of independence and have chosen to fall divided as a nation, then stand united. 🎉🎉 Another morning of Americans, listening to this entertainment, and then choosing to sit, idly by as we allow our government to destroy this nation……
@reneenilson995118 күн бұрын
I don't generally think it's the people watching This platform allowing this to happen. In my experience it's the ones who think the govt is going to save them who do that. That may not be how you meant your comment, just pointing out that that is how it could be construed.
@questconquest995318 күн бұрын
@ the very people you speak of watching this platform are the very people who also believe their “side” of the government is going to save them and this country. Meanwhile, we continuously get played and divided intentionally by both parties election after election……

I just want to point out. If you are in a bad situation yes self defense is important as far as physical alteration . That's only if you are up against a single person. If there are multiple people I don't care how fit and what moves you know you better have an alternative self defense method. No one is Superman. If you are not in a competition and if it's a nut job you're in a rumble with, you better have a backup weapon. No judge or Ref is going to stop the fight and say ok carry on. This is going to be all out war.

You always give good information, and I'm grateful for it. But what if somebody's alone and no one around family or others, that is preparing. And you don't know anybody that feels the same way as you. No one you can connect with. And you don't know where to go to connect with people that feel like you. And most that you know, think that your losing your mind. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions.

@sarahlady175 Amen! Thank you so much for replying to me. I do believe you know how I feel, because when you said keep prepping. It's exactly how I feel, that's why I never stopped. It started with me wanting to prepare for those in my family and others that would not listen, or attempt to Seek the Truth. But the Spirit of God let me know that it will help, and I kept doing it for whoever the Spirit was having me to. Including family and others I know. I went into a coma in 2017 and it completely changed me. From then not even one day, have I stopped seeking the Face of Our Lord! Praise His Holy Name!
