It's a sad indictment that the audience were laughing at Lohan's discomfort. Society at its worst.
@Relaxicity Жыл бұрын
Laughter is usually the first response we address such a situation with. A way out of the seriousness of what happens. You see many of the victims do it to. Sometimes the unease shines through, subtly (Sandra Bullock) or less subtly (Jane Fonda), but both still laughing, to ease the situation and hoping to save a last bit of grace. But be sure that their moods turned later, when they realize the aggression they just faced. Disguised aggression, but serious aggression none the less. The audience falls into the same trap. Laugh it off hope it goes away. It's also what they came for, so definitely the first option in front of them. But most of them feel her pain, and I'm sure almost no one there was entertained by this, especially when they thought back of the incident, and as their awareness of how this affected Lohan slowly grew in strenth.
