@@KindCountsDeb3773 With you. A lot of actors get their start on these hospital dramas. They're not the most sophisticated of productions and direction, editing etc. isn't as tight as on other more lavish programmes. Pitting the actors against each other is such a mean and unnecessary thing to do. As you say, I'm sure Jodie thought they were decent actors, and learnt a lot from her time in these earlier roles.

The Jodie Comer I see today is one of the best actors I've ever seen, period. She's obviously had years of experience. Her facial expressions make her character so real on Killing Eve. She makes Villanelle seem like a real person with subtle gestures. Most actors get us 90% of the way and we fill in the rest as the audience just playing along. Jodie makes this character real.
