I cant afford that variant but i bought the Phenyx Pro PDP2 from your previous video. Glad i did. Its not as good as that variant but it's satisfactory. Compared to my JBL wireless microphone. But i will definitely save up for that since my entire family loves to sing so that is a great choice.

Can't really beat this price with a four channel receiver + mics! Would be interesting to know if the mic transmitter is compatible with wireless capsules from other brands and how it sounds with them.

Sounds good. Wonder what the range is. And very important can, you disable the on/off and/or mute switch. So a singer doesn't mute his/her own mic :)

I saw another reviewer set up the receiver in a park, then walk with a mic across an open field that ran about 150', then kept going down a dirt road that had bushes and trees between the mic and the receiver. At 250', the signal did not drop a lick and that was without line of sight. Really impressive.

@@billlord4203 That is impressive. I use Sennheiser receivers and if there is public in front of it, I get cut outs. That is why I usually set it up somewhere on stage and use the snake that goes from the stage to FOH. Or, I use one of those large antennas at FOH.

​@@ObscureMicsBark, I couldn't resist and ordered the bundle. In my opinion, the weakness on the mic is the on/off button. They feel a bit flimsy to me. With the Black Friday discount, I went to their website and ordered matching bodypacks. Price on their stuff is silly good at the moment. While these are not my dream mic, they are so totally serviceable for live performance.

Cool. Like you said, USB-out would make this a no-brainer. I wonder if other wireless devices in the supported frequencies range would work? Wireless guitar dongle on channel 4 or whatever would be a neat trick.

Bark, what do you think - could you stick a sE V7 MC1 or MC2 mic capsule on that mic body? Not that the stock mic capsules sound all that bad, but man, if you could fit the V7 hat on top of this rig, now we are really cookin.
