The Amazon listing calls it a VHF mic, which doesn't seem so probable. Is there a list of frequencies in the documentation?

Greetings! I'm struggling with the choice: Fluid Audio Axis or Rode NT1 Signature. The microphone is planned to be used to record male vocals and acoustic guitar (sometimes) in a home studio in the MOTU M4 interface. Please tell me, which is better?
@ObscureMics
@ObscureMics Күн бұрын
It’s really hard to call one better than the other but I will say this The fluid audio build quality is way better The fluid audio shock mount is sleeker The sound of both is really good So it depends on if you want to pay a little more for better build and heft… I lean towards the axis…especially if money is no issue. If you are choosing based purely on sound quality…may as well save the money and get the sig series

Did a shits and giggles experiment with iphone 16pro. Rode has a recording app for the iphone. Basic but works good. Now for the shits and giggles part. Plugged in via usb c into my phone using the Rhode app for recording a Rodcaster 1, then I tried my vocaster audio interface and lastly the zoom podtrack 4 . Each one was seen my the app and worked 100%. The only thing is to make sure the interfaces are plugged into their power supply. Might be fun to try with the Toner interface.

Could this be the microphone that vocalist Steve Walsh used on that Kansas tour that he has on KZbin, the 1988 show, the USO? Or would it be the PL 80 model? I say this because for me these models are very different and very modern for the time. I even thought it was a Sennheiser but no. Steve Walsh had a habit of using the Shure SM57 Mics in the 70s on the Kansas tours.
