Working for Buick for decades 70-‘90 I was proud of the GN & GNX. I owned a 70 GS stage II, which ate everything it raced, but the GN’s were in a different world.

A couple of my buddies bought new GN's back in the day. I owned a GMC Syclone as well. Awesome cars for the time. This car is badass as well, and the stance is perfect. Though for me, these cars are meant to be Turbo V6 cars. That's why they are legends.

I just bought an ‘84 hot air T Type. I’m really torn between keeping it a Turbo 6 or going with a turbo 5.3 LS. It’s a tough choice !

@@-thebatman- I hear ya Batman. I just gotta have that Turbo six sound. When I was street racing them back in the day with my 5.0 Mustang they were my worst enemy. I hear they’re inconsistent and problematic but I can’t put a V8 in one. I’m dropping an inter ooled 86-87 conversion in mine.

Stunning. I'm out of adjectives to describe how incredible your cars are. Roadster Shop sets the benchmark for modern street machines. Congratulations on another incredible product. P.S.: would appreciate a walk around in your videos featuring the engine, interior, suspension. You do an incredible job featuring the build process on your website, but it would be icing on the cake to see a minute or two on the details within the videos. Thanks so much for posting these up.

Yea buddy they finally supped up a grocery getter and turned it up10 notches from Buicks measly intention. A 427 with twin turbos and 1600 hp. That's beyond supercar. Man didn't think a G-body would sit like I desired it in my GNX mental mock-ups. Low as hell with carved out fenders to use full height and width of those original flares. RS molded the flares into the design and filled in the wheel wells perfectly. right motor, right boosted, right stance. My Monte Carlo has a 5" drop in rear and 2" dropped spindles on 15x8 + 15x10 w/245/60 (f) and 275/60 (r). Sits nasty but no where as nasty as this rocket. Excellent craftsmanship Jeremy and crew.

Imagine pulling up next to a Demon170 and easily showing him your taillights! AND the amazing thing is doing that build DEFINITELY would cost so much less than a Demon170! I had one new in 1987, spent about 45K with a Kenny Dutweiller twin turbo 4.1 liter and with drag radials went 10.5 at 131 atvE-town back then and had to feather the go pedal until it was past the 1/8 mile mark. That motor 35 years ago made 903HP on Kenny's dyno at 14 pounds of boost! Can just imagine what 1600HP would do today with current tires and chassis setup!

Absolutely beautiful build but just another souped up regal, grand national badges should have come off with the V6. I get the LS platform is so reliable and so potent but it just isn’t a GN without the V6. But the stance of the car is byfar one of the nicest if not the nicest I’ve ever seen.
