Twin-turbo Roadster Shop Buick GN- the School Run!

We like to test our vehicle builds in as many possible scenarios as we can - for this 1987 Buick Gran National build, we ran it through the most rigorous and scrutinizing of tests...the School Run!
Kicking it back to pre-SEMA 2022 just ahead of the cars debut, Jeremy takes the GN to pick up son Wyatt for the most awesome of rides home!

This video is so great. Brings back great memories for me of my son and daughter when they were Wyatt’s age when I took them for rides in my highly modded ‘87 TBird. Nowhere near the power of the GN (480 RWHP) but definitely fun on the street and makes all the right noises. They loved the speed and noise and were always egging me on to “Go faster dad!” Best part of this video: Not only is Jeremy and his crew at RS killing it at the hot rod build game (they absolutely set the standard IMHO), most importantly he’s killing it as a dad.

I love this kid! He was certainly made for this type of cars! He is not phased not even a tad bit! You would think by his expressions that they were just at 30 mile an hour Crosby the whole time! You should strongly consider creating a separate channel for just you and Wyatt, with him critiquing the finished product of roadster shop builds. I think you'll be surprised to see just how well it takes off with views & subs. These are incredible builds, but your little man is what makes this 🤌🏻

I was a 28 year old mechanic at a Buick dealership and we had one of these brand new, Buick Grand National in stock. I wanted that car so bad and put a lot of miles on it but being married with four kids that was not a family friendly car. It sat on the lot for about six months and a highway patrolman purchased the car probably at a used price cause I put so many miles on it😂 I still think about that car to this day.

1965 my dad pulled up in front of the school in a new white T-Bird convertible with a red interior. I asked who’s car is this , he said get in . The first time in my life I went over a 110 mph . Hooked for life I was 8 yes old .

Someone said that he’s the luckiest kid in the world but it’s not because he’s in a GN or a Camaro or Any-other muscle car. He’s the luckiest kid because his dad can expose and tickle his brain and imagination with every drive in something that he’s had a hand in creating. To be exposed to such emotions that young is priceless. And every time that he gets picked up from school like that, will be permanently etched in his brain and a connection with his dad long after he’s gone. Life must be extremely busy for you but just know that your son will always remember you picking him up before he remembers an overflowing toy room. Enjoy it now.
