this is the only review I could find about the Altama for their proper use, every other video about this is cringe wannabe operators wearing them for daily walkers.

I love Marine Assault use case and how it is represented properly.

Wanted to get these for awhile now. My boots are wet almost 6 days a week. for the price tag of these boots, I could get 3 pairs of neoprene hardsole boots that will last me 2 years or longer. just don't konw how long will the adhesives last if it's being wet all the time.

If you are getting 2 or more years out of a conventional boot with that usage schedule, I am not sure how beneficial these will be to you. The primary reason why I was interested in them is that they don't retain water between dives and they are much sturdier than a conventional boot. The Mares Trilastic boots and the Altamas are almost the same price at the moment. I have some pairs of Trilastics that are at least 8 years old. So, at my usage rate, I expect the Altamas to last at least the same amount of time.

How did you go on with pinching in the 8 inch boot when finning? Thanks Jc 🇬🇧
@divezonescuba3 ай бұрын
@@johncooper3171 I did not have any pinching issues when finning. I did not really notice any difference at all.

Since i wear a 14.5, should i get a size bigger or get a 14
@divezonescuba5 ай бұрын
@@DAHOMIE_RONE in my case the sizing was too small. My normal street shoes are 10.5 wide. I needed to go to an 11 wide in the Altama maritime assault 8 inch boot. I discuss this a bit in video #166 which is an update to this video.
