Yeah I am reluctant to think it’s deliberate and I don’t remember who the player is at all - but definitely a bunch of play mistakes that all happened to be in his own favor. That’s never a good look. seems like a player where you have to keep a watchful eye on his land drops and what lands he taps. Good catch on the psychic purge!

@@RaVNeFLoK I understand your position. and I respect you. and I totally disagree- a bunch of "mistakes that are self serving, in a game they are losing = cheating (in my book) unfathomably stupid to do it while being recorded though.

The Fireball in the first game was only for 8??

Looking through it again - I still count 9 damage: 2 factories, 3 moxen, 1 solring, 2 islands, 1 volcanic island equals 10 mana total. 1 red mana spent for casting fireball + 9 mana for 9 damage.

The second game was great! The UR player really pulled everything he could out of his deck to survive - a great fight! 👌👍 At minute 41:24: Is he playing a Psychic Purge as instant there? 🤔 But no matter! For the outcome of the game it was no longer important anyway...

He can indeed fork his own time walk. The first spell to resolve would be the fork and next up would be the original time walk- the outcome would be two turns in a row after this one. Same as we saw here :)

Yes in most local tournament (like this one) we allow CE to open the format a bit more up to new players. In this match the counterburn player has a lot of ce cards in his deck whereas the green players deck is all alpha/beta as he has been playing old school from way back. As far as I’ve experienced It’s mostly at tournaments in Copenhagen and most places in Sweden where organizers don’t like including ce here in Scandinavia.
