Fantastic! Man I miss this look from modern movies and tv shows. Stunning! At a first glance I'd say the first shot (hot air balloon) and 0:30 look digital.

Thank you so much! The hot air balloon footage is real film, but the music video in red/blue is emulated! Good eye!

@@nkosiroma question, do you know if it’s possible to change the native arri sr2 PL mount to M4/3 and the use the m4/3 to PL speedbooster? This would open the door to more cinema lenses for that beautiful 16mm format , thank you 🙏

Thank you so much. It’s a project called dropping guards that’s still in festivals as far as I’m aware. That’s the challenge of being a DP, having little control over projects and their release haha! Short on film!!

Great shots. Any chance you could test out rolling shutter distortion in 16mm film with a long lens. People on forums have been saying that the rolling shutter of a film camera can cause distortion at REALLY fast pans. Me personally I don't buy it but I haven't seen any test ever been done on this. So if you could that would be fantastic.
