I had a good friend in the music industry whose first two albums went platinum. He ended up ODing 6 or 7 years ago. I would ask him when we would get together what he did inbetween albums and touring. He told me things that i would never have thought about and actually creepy and scary. He had so much time to do anything he could but as like the TV industry and how the music industry is it was all about sex and the drugs. The actors and musician get so bored that they get into freaky behaviors. I cant get into or say what he told me what he use to do and others musicians that did the same just for and out of respect for his mom and dad. That's not how a premediated murder charge works. Premeditation means prior meditation or consideration. Planning for a predetermined outcome. To sustain a charge of premediated murder the prosecution needs to show active attempt(s) over time on the part of the defendant to plan for a specific intent of murder, not spur of the moment choice in the 2 minutes before the murder. Even purchasing a gun in the weeks before the murder isn't enough to prove premeditated murder. A good defense lawyer would rightly argue that people buy guns all the time, and that occasionally that will randomly happen right before someone gets killed with the firearm, so that's not enough evidence by itself to prove premeditation. An example of actual premeditation is when criminals use the internet to research kill methods in the immediate days or weeks before killing their target, or when they talk to peers about killing the person. Or write a murder to-do list. Or buying a weapon and other items in conjunction with it that have purpose of hiding the crime or shielding the suspect from recognition. Dark clothing, shovels, cleaning supplies, tools to cut up a body, duct tape and zip ties. None of this stuff is uncommon or unusual by itself, but if the suspect collects things like this in the weeks and days before a murder, without any obvious need or reason, then investigators consider the likelihood that they were intended to aid the crime and that shows premeditation.

I read about Locane. She was speeding and drunk, but the car she hit was in the wrong. It urned left right in front of her, failing to yield her right of way. She would have plowed through the car even had she been completely sober. How could they know how fast she was diving, anyway. Supposedly 53 in 35, which is less than 20 over, so it’s not reckless driving. She served her time, got out, and was a model citizen. Years later, they threw her in prison, claiming her first sentence was too short! I say the first sentence was too long, considering the other car turned left into her car traveling in the road.
