I love the King Fisher, my favorite bird! But all your pictures are beautiful. I love it that they’re all of animals. The color of the boat is perfect. Turquoise has been my favorite color since I saw a paler version in a robin’s egg when I was around 5 years old.

Me too Susan. It is still magical when we see one on the canal. We loved the colour of our old boat, although the new boat colour is also one of our favourites too. It is strange how childhood memories influence or choices. I remember my gran had a deep blue glad ornament and I absolutely love that colour as an adult. Hope you have a fab weekend ❤️

I am so happy that I have your art on my walls. Well, I will - as soon as I can get them framed. This was a fantastic vlog. Loved seeing the dogs, the cooking in the kitchen, the marina, and OF COURSE the boat. I don't see what the big deal is about the "she's a Bickerstaffe". Most builders put their names on their boats - it's a badge of pride more than anything else. Let's face it, every single CAR is the exact same... The boat looks beautiful. The color is STUNNING. when cleaning window blinds its best to close them, take them down and lie them on a solid flat surface, that way reduces the chances of any of the slats getting damaged and you can also apply more pressure than you would with them up

When the guy removed the plastic I was going "Woooooha! That's not my kind of color!" But then - when I imagine how it would look in the wild on the cut I must say it will be marvelous. And now I want my (I fear never will be realized) boat in exactly the same tone. :)

great to hear from you, the only problem I have in getting back to the UK is restrictions, New Zealand Govt; are pretty strict coming in or out. I want to be on the canal for 4 or five years, and a coffee will be definitely on the menu. Kai-ora mai.. John

Thanks Shaun. If I am going to be honest, Paul wasn’t convinced. It was exactly the colour I had in mind and when Kev and I both pointed at the same time to the sample, I knew it was a winner for us. Good look with your persuasive powers 😉

Beautiful colour. Or reminds me of a kingfisher or a peacock. It’s useful to have the makers names on the boats so if you see one you like you know where to go for information. Common sense really! Thanks for sharing.
