I watched all 18 parts, and never got to hear it run! Nice job though. I learned a lot from it.

@@RealManSkills I didn't know yesterday that my spring was broken on the end and so I just grabbed my grinder and put new edges on it and assembled according to your instructions. Thank you its running now.

When I use a skinny rope in an older recoil I tie two knots in the rope to keep it in, since the old ropes were fatter.I like the aluminum ones like yours since they have removable glides instead of the cheap steel ones that can suffer from metal fatigue and break off .

I happen to keep four (4) different rope sizes in my shop. Thanks for watching.

I'll let you know at midday if it's intimidating or not!! lol I ve got down to the recoil now so I'm hoping a new pull rope ...back togther/sorted. I'll have a look at those vdeos thanks. Like I say it helps a lot to be shown what to expect as you take it apart.

It is not as intimidating as it might seem. I highly recommend visiting donyboy73's channel. He is in Canada and has 100's of great videos. Thanks again for watching.

Not yet. I always seem to have another project that comes up. Mostly projects that involve making money!

These clips are of value as now I just can't afford to take the mower into a mechanic. Between yours and anothers I'm hoping to get this sorted this morning..........saving a £50 + bill......I hope....if all works out! (I'm not especially good at these things)
