Mohmmad Irfan from Pakistan is the tallest bowler in history of cricket and you missed him. Also legend Kapil Dev and Wasim Akram and Liam Plucknett too.

Kapil was only 183 cm which is just 6 ft. Ravi Shastri was taller at 191 cm which is 6.26 ft and Wasim was almost same. But the guy missed several others who were almost 6'5 and above. Height is big benefit of any bowler , but those bowlers are really great those who don't having a big height but their line length and accuracy is best like Dale Steyn , Brett Lee , Zaheer Khan , trent boult ,Wasim Akram etc.

What's the use. Barring a few exceptions, most of history's greatest cricketers were medium in stature starting with Sir Don Bradman himself or Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar who're barely 5'4" each.

Height is an advantage for bowling since you get more bounce if you are taller no matter what speed you bowl at. It does not affect batsmen.

@@grayscarab5784 two of the greatest bowlers of all-time as well were medium built in the standards of their respective countries namely Dennis Lillee(5'11.25") and Malcolm Marshall(5'10"). Rest were no doubt tall, but when THE greatest themselves are of average stature, height becomes "just another number".

@@Timberwolf1992 Yeah, you can add Dale Steyn to that list as well. I did not mean bowlers HAD to be tall, just that fast bowlers tend to be tall to get that extra bounce.

These were all batsmen, most of the best batsmen were smaller in stature, although Don Bradman was 5' 7". You can add Ricky Ponting at 5' 10", David Warner at 5' 7", Sachin Tendulkar 5' 5". Exceptions were Matthew Hayden 6' 2", Andrew Symonds 6'2", Clive Lloyd, VVS Laxman, and Graeme Pollock were also well above 1.83 m (6 ft 0 in).
