Van conversions with showers are the most impressive ones.

The most important thing for RV living: be under 6 ft tall. At 6"3', tiny living spaces are *really* damn tiny. I love the idea of living in a vehicle, but I'd need a school bus or bigger to be any kind of comfortable... And that would cost more than house payments in gas.

The shower is amazing and they have a lot of space compared to lots of other conversions. It must have cost a bit of money too. I wish them well on their journey!

theses Mercedes 600 series vans are the perfect conversion vehicles. big, reliable and beautiful. I can never understand why so many people in the US convert pokey little vans you cnt even stand up in !!
@Rmhtxga81
@Rmhtxga81 6 жыл бұрын
There's a very good reason for that, those vans aren't common here. We covert American vans cus we live in America, Europeans convert Europeans vans cus they live in Europe. It's about what's more common/available, this is a simple concept
@justinlinnane8043
@justinlinnane8043 6 жыл бұрын
g dawg lol yes true. I was just having a little dig ! Just always perplexing to see so few high tops t but I suppose it's not in your tradition to have high top van ?
@Spintechfilms
@Spintechfilms 6 жыл бұрын
@@justinlinnane8043 it honestly isnt, i mean we have high top vans like mercedes vans but the thing that turns most of us American Vanners off on them is parts for them are import and not domestic, there are Ford Vans that are stand ups but from how i personally feel there not very steathy as there not usually used for service vehicles in the states, at least not around where i live
@justinlinnane8043
@justinlinnane8043 6 жыл бұрын
Spintechfilms that will now change as I think ford e the only company left that make an American van now ? the other two vans on the market are Fiat and Mercedes so by default you're getting European vans badged as American.

do these van people have regular income or is their sole desire to escape the dreaded 9-5 malarkey ?. I have came across lots of people and i'm left wondering how the hell do they wonder off and be not even within 50 miles of convenient access points,especially if something drastically happened ?.I love the concept of it all & the money/experience aspect to it, but like a lot of things in life trends & novelties at some point do wear off. Great short term or vacation kinda thing...not so sure if it's a long term thing. But i suppose it depends on your circumstances & commitments you have in society
@tritter15
@tritter15 6 жыл бұрын
clint smith well, in this modern day society you don’t necessarily need a 9-5 job in an office to build an income. I know of two people who did the van life (well, 1 person and then a couple), and they both used the internet to maintain a steady income. One had her own business, while the other worked as a freelance photographer. Considering that they didn’t have to pay for mortgage and many other expenses that come from living in a house or apartment, the bills they have to deal with are much cheaper in comparison, too.
@jessejames3656
@jessejames3656 6 жыл бұрын
good for them. but i would assume most people rely on society for number of thing's still ..that's the point. I applaud the people that make it work financially and logistically. But like iv'e said, i get the impression that a lot of people do it simply to escape society and also quit their jobs in the process.. not so much on this channel but various other one's, and i think that's a pretty dangerous thing to do. i just hope some people do have a back up plan. But look it's a great way of travelling & living IF you can make it work.
@jessejames3656
@jessejames3656 6 жыл бұрын
well yeah in the end it comes down to whats viable for you, we all have our own philosophies & values of how we want to live. But iv'e ran into a lot of people that blame society for where they are in their lives so they want to escape it by turning to alternative living which the actual concept of it all is not the problem but the people who turn to it with no financial or logistical plan. i ran into a couple on KZbin who knew of some people that have hit a brick wall...so their we go. We all know society is very con-formative and is all about how you profit from it, but at the end of the day we all need to make profits regardless which lifestyle we choose..even the most nomadic of lifestyles. i'm one that wants to live in a simplistic way simply because i don't want excess thing's in my life, the best thing's in life are free through my eyes. But regardless of what you think of society.. it is very beneficial in every way. People can't keep having the mentality that it's "messed up my life" ...because like i said iv'e watched quite a few videos where people have left me with that impression. There's no doubt that you can profit from minimalist lifestyles but i'll throw you this thought... So really to sum up what i'm saying for all of us that are watching these alternative ways of living videos ...what if all of a sudden we became rich, how many of us would actually still turn to a sustainable harmonious way of living ?. i bet it will be only a few. So how many want this lifestyle based on desire or just to escape it with no strategic ploy ?.

We work from home with a photography business. So we can travel and find work like we did when we had a normal house. As long as we have access to Internet (Starbucks, McDonald's, library etc) we're good to go! The only difference is now we don't have an expensive mortgage. We live in a slide in camper so it's really easy to get around because we aren't towing a trailer. Makes it easy to park in small spaces as well. Its also easy to find jobs online. Tech support is pretty popular as you only need a phone and internet. Hope that helps! PS we live in Canada.

Sun powers the batteries so no electric bills, keeps food cold in the fridge. Stock up on groceries, supplies, water in town and then drive, park free anywhere so operating costs are low. Living on savings is possible, working seasonal jobs or remote/distance work is possible. There is always a way

I love your dogs. For the general public: They might like the canned dog food called 'Royal Canin' for specific dog breeds, or close to the breed. They might also like 'Milk Bone Dental Dog Buiscuits' or the original dog buiscuits. It is good for couples who know they don't want to have their own children (dogs can be expensive at the vet, etc.) to have a vasectomy for men and a tubal ligation for women, to help prevent an unplanned pregnancy. The best trained medical staff should only be used because the tubes can grow back together and get you pregnant if the cut is not enough. You need to sit still amap, as much as possible for about three days afterwards and avoiding lifting anything heavy for about three weeks afterwards. This is the same recommendation for any women after getting an abortion, taking the Plan B or abortion at home pill, the best IUD, the 'copper coil IUD' so all that can be prevented by getting a tubal ligation and vasectomy for men.
