17' Focus RS - FSWERKS Short Shifter

Installing the FSWERKS short shifter on my 2017 Focus RS. Overall I am extremely happy with the results. The shifter is significantly shorter without a noticeable increase in effort. I went with the 30% reduction (middle position). I really like how this option is less expensive then something like the mountune kit and gives you more flexibility.

Some people have noticed that the shifter sound is very noticeable in the video. I don't think its any more noticeable then stock. My garage has a solid cement floor so I think it was just bouncing off the floor and the microphone was adjusting to pick it up. You can't hear it when you're driving, only when stopped and trying to listen for it.

That was easier than installing the Mountune short throw shifter which I ended up doing.

Yea thats one of the reasons I bought this instead of that as well as being half the price and giving me more options for reductions.

Same one i bought. Tried 40% at first didnt like it went with 30% and its super smooth. Makes you relearn how to shift but you get up to speed way quicker. Get a KN air filter too bro

Ordered the Ford Performance Tune which includes the KN air filter. Should be coming in the next few weeks. I'll post a video of the differences once I get it.

Kevin Fine what does the Ford performance tune consist of? Is there a link you can provide?

Unfortunately still hasn't come out yet, rumored to come out early next year now (they apparently had problems with the first run).

Kevin Fine so the tune your speaking of is the FPM375 Mountune upgrade, I'm assuming. If so, I heard it is having difficulties passing some kind of CARB protocol. How were you able to order it?

Nope, this was the Ford Performance Tune offered from Ford Performance. I ordered it through Ford Racing but they pulled it out once they had problems and refunded me.
