Our longest sailing ever from Shetland on the NorthLink - 17 hours! The ferry was delayed by 3 hours due to rough weather conditions. This route is known for being one of the stormiest ferry crossings, how did we manage?

You two are incredibly stoic when faced with big seas. I've experienced Force 10 in the Sea of Japan before, but the timescale was a lot less than 17 hours.

I hate to say it but there ain't a lot you can do except be stoic Stamp your feet, scream and holler, put in a written complaint...the North Sea in winter is gonna be a bitch whatever you do...

I have been on its sister ship when it's up and down and side to side. Including 8 hours circling Aberdeen like a Cork in the water.
