What challenges do you face while using natural light?

Hi Amrita. Love the way you choose flowers and leaves that are less than "perfect". Sometimes we can get caught up trying to achieve the perfect, flawless shot and forget that there is also beauty in nature's imperfections. Looking forward to the next one...

Lesley, that's exactly what I wanted to convey. I am so glad it came across. It's those imperfections that make things even more special. I am so happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for the wonderful words.

Great Vlog, my choice of lighting would be south facing window (north in the northern hemisphere), a much softer light source with the potential to use it for backlighting, thanks for sharing a wonderful idea

Thanks so much, Tony. I love both my south and north facing windows for still life shoots. You are correct, the light through them is much softer than an east or west facing window.

Very informative… the leaves and the fruit are from a sweetgum tree, not a maple.

Sadly this video like other I've seen from you isn't helpful to me. It's more about staging the shoot rather than any technical tips. You're not sharing any settings. That's a huge shame as I thought your video will be when it popped up in my search
@AmritaBhortake2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mon, I am happy you liked my previous video. As this video was more about staging and how you can modify natural light for the result you want, I focused it on that. It was not about the technical tips but more about modifying light. I have added my camera settings in the video description for your reference. Please let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to answer them.
