Excellent video as always. If you could find the time would it be possible to do a disassembly video of the dampening leg for just a basic service I.E. fluid and seals? WP released a great vid for the air side but nothing for the opposite.

What oil level did you end up running in these forks? i have been thinking i might drop my oil level 10cc to make it a little more plush

Jeff, the video is absolutely what it needs to be, dont worry about sound echo!. I have a big problem, got a used euro sxf 250 2016 with first version of WP aer forks. And they locked up first time i used them. The air fork goes halfway down and gets locked or stopped, and goes back to fully stretched. Is there a way to unlocked them without disasmbly that you know of? Thanks i know here theres been some problems with locking and destroying the forks on jumps due to the locking.

That is a cartridge seal issue. When it fails the high pressure transfers to the low pressure and locks down the fork. It must be dis-assembled to correct it.

Do you foresee any issues with the plastic piston? Maybe not because it is just the base valve. Overall, it seems like a much nicer fork. Now show us the air side! I'm interested to see what they did there.

Thanks for the videos Jeff, how did the fork respond to the lowering of the oil level? Is the allowable range 180-200 ml?
@slaverace17 жыл бұрын
The range is 180-240.

Umm Jeff, sorry if i'm stating the obvious here but why can't yourself or whoever you have help with the video's do some very basic audio processing? There's nothing really wrong with your mic, you just need to amplify the audio. It's very easy to do, plenty of free software out there. Just open the software, open the video, amplify the sound by ~200%, hit save and then upload to youtube. No more problems, no more audio comments

Software name and link?
@aidangillett53967 жыл бұрын
I don't think I can post links in comments, but a free piece of software is 'handbrake.' For basic instructions search youtube for 'handbrake amplify'
