But so many of the warnings he mocks... actually came true. The day before the brexit vote, the pound was worth $1.48, and it's still, a full five years on, never recovered. Today we're at $1.23, and falling, and experiencing the cost of living crisis that comes with that. But I guess it's funny? Who cares about the British public eh?

@@RaRa-eu9mw 😂 food shortages??? We've run out of a few seasonal vegetables and fruit due to the bad weather in Spain etc! I'm old enough to remember a time when we didnt have tomatoes available in the winter months in the UK only from July onwards that's why it's called S E A S O N A L. Hardly a food shortage and where has the pound fallen? Where are getting your news source from the EU News propaganda today? 😂😂
@RaRa-eu9mw Жыл бұрын
@@christinewilkinson2424 Perhaps ask why "bad weather in Spain" has caused the UK to run out of certain foods, but not the EU. You can remember the 80s when the food supply was this bad. Brilliant. The thing is, we shouldn't be accepting of a food supply like we had in the 80s when the rest of Europe gets to live in the present. With regards the pound, that's an easy one. The day before the Brexit vote, £1 was worth $1.48. It has never returned to that level. It's currently at just $1.19 and still falling. My source for this is the XE currency exchange data. No "EU News Propaganda Today." Just reality.
